It’s no better than other DIY photo manipulation apps or AI. In terms of the detailed analysis recommendations, it told me I had narrow set eyes on one page, wide set eyes on another. Made multiple references to my fair cool skin but then on my skin analysis, it said I had a warm tone. It also counted shadows as blemishes. It was fun to play with once. Canceling ### 1/5 — Pay wall *2026-05-27* You go through all of the steps to take pictures only to be given a ridiculous amount to see the AI generated images. Worthless app! ### 1/5 — Mediocre at best *2026-05-20* This app is not very helpful and takes a lot of work but more importantly it’s really hard to figure out and figure out how to unsubscribe. I wrote their customer service for help and never got a response so it’s definitely not worth the money. **Developer response:** Thank you for the honest feedback, and sorry we missed your email. One quick thing worth knowing: iOS doesn't let developers cancel subscriptions on a user's behalf, so it has to be done in iPhone Settings, then tap your name, Subscriptions, Refina, Cancel. ### 1/5 — Snapchat Quality *2026-05-07* Don’t bother. I spent $14 to look like a Kardashian. You can get the same look for free on a thousand other sites. **Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback. Version 3 now produces a much more realistic, procedure-grade results than the filtered look you saw. We've also added the Facial Dossier, a 22 page personalized facial analysis report built on a completely new pipeline of 3D facial mesh mapping, semantic segmentation, and geometric measurement. We hope you give it another try. ### 1/5 — Impossible to canc *2026-05-07* It’s $15 per week and impossible to cancel. **Developer response:** Thank you for flagging this. iOS doesn't let developers cancel subscriptions on a user's behalf, so cancellation has to be done in iPhone Settings, then tap your name, Subscriptions, Refina, Cancel. The app doesn‘t even offer a single day of trial before deciding if it‘s worth purchasing. You have to purchase right away without knowing if it‘s even something you‘re interested in using. **Developer response:** Thank you for the honest feedback. This app makes no mention of a cost. purposely misleading the consumer into thinking it’s a free app, then has you jump through ten hoops, including images from all sorts of angles…only to them try and charge 12.99 for an AI generated image that can easily be created on chat GPT. Scam ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2026-03-16* Rubbish **Developer response:** Sorry the experience fell flat. Version 1.1.1 had real limitations on result quality that we've since rebuilt from the ground up. Version 2.3 produces noticeably stronger results, and we'd genuinely like to hear what didn't work for you so we can keep improving. I uploaded a front and side, and now it will only generate an image based on the side profile image. And the images it does generate…..my skin looks worse. Doesn’t look like anything is done to my face. Try to delete the picture and it keeps coming back. Can’t delete the app. Get an error message. Worthless. **Developer response:** Thank you for flagging these issues. Every one of them has been fixed since 1.1.1. Version 2.3 uses a completely rebuilt AI pipeline with much more visible results, properly uses both your front and side photos, and the photo deletion and app removal bugs are resolved. Doesn't follow all prompts and the "after" isn't what you asked for. Very very basic and simply not what it says it is. Result accuracy was a real weakness in 1.1.1 that we took seriously. Version 2.3 uses a completely rebuilt AI pipeline that produces "after" images far closer to what users are looking for. What a scam! ### 1/5 — Wow…not in a good way *2026-07-24* Sleazy…they tell you one price, but card is charged at least $35 more than what is listed on app. Even if “results” are good, ie: something actually worth paying for, they are simply taking advantage. They’ve been “almost ready” for the vast majority of that time. I have emailed support, no response. ### 1/5 — Rubbish app *2026-06-01* This app shows plastic surgery changes as performed 30+ years ago, not with the type of refined techniques that exist now. All the “after” images look really extreme with no ability to make adjustments, you pretty much look like an alien.
