Reflect is a calm journal for people who want to think more clearly. Each day brings a thoughtful prompt and a distraction-free place to write. When you explicitly ask for it, AI reads your entry and returns one honest observation: a pattern, a tension, or a question between the lines. No life-coach clichés and no empty validation. HOW IT WORKS • Write freely or respond to the daily prompt • Use the microphone for speech to text; your voice is not saved as a recording • Tap “Reflect” when you want an AI response • Find earlier entries through search, timeline, themes, and calendar views WHAT MAKES REFLECT DIFFERENT • Warm, clear AI reflections only when you request them • AI weekly summaries that connect the threads across your week • Local themes, trends, highlights, and monthly reviews • Reminders on the weekdays and at the times you choose • Encrypted backups protected by your own passphrase • 27 languages, plus light and dark mode PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your entries live locally on your device. Journal text is transmitted only when you explicitly request an AI reflection or AI weekly summary. Dictation produces text and does not save a new audio recording. PostHog may process pseudonymous technical usage events, and RevenueCat processes purchase and subscription data. Neither receives your journal text. No account is required. The selected plan's price now sits directly above the button. • Decision Lab, Personal Compass, Quick Capture and Year Story finally look alike in Settings. The same four entries previously used two different type scales and two interaction patterns. ### 3.0.12 — 2026-08-17 Important: voice notes restored from an encrypted backup were being deleted instead of restored. Fixed. Scheduled reminders are now also cancelled when a recording is left behind during a full delete, and a failed restore says what actually happened instead of calling a valid file "not a backup". ### 3.0.11 — 2026-08-14 Restores are now transactional and preserve decisions and your personal compass. Timeline, search, and export are no longer limited to the first 1,000 entries, and data deletion now reports audio-file failures reliably too. ### 3.0.8 — 2026-08-11 This update makes purchases, restores, imports, exports, reminders, and AI actions more reliable when taps repeat or results arrive late. Larger touch targets and clearer VoiceOver labels improve accessibility. Prompts, dates, and guidance are refined across Reflect’s 27 languages. ### 3.0.7 — 2026-08-11 An entry you started now survives leaving the app and is waiting for you the next time you open it. Deleting a compass rule now asks first.
