Só acho que precisam refinar melhor o conteúdo específico de cada região. Por exemplo, apesar de eu selecionar a região Brasil, o app exibe títulos e pôster em inglês. Além disso, deveria ter a opção de traduzir comentários para o nosso idioma. ### 3/5 — Alternative à TV Time *2026-08-02* N'égalera pas l'appli originale, En revanche je recommanderai de faire des onglets séparés pour les films et les séries qu'on puisse s'y retrouver Pour les séries, l'accès aux épisodes est assez compliqué (il faut scroller jusqu'en bas de la page) ### 3/5 — iPad version *2026-07-30* iPad version would be great ### 5/5 — 10/10 team 10/10 app *2026-07-27* I barely write reviews ever for apps but i have to with this app, they were absolutely hounded when TVTime announced they were done and took on all the new users on discord and on the app they’ve been very open and listened to every feedback and with them being such a small team they handled it amazingly. as for the app, if you liked TVTime this is the same it’s very sociable like LetterBoxd they are working on several things including adding Games and Books that it could end up being one place where you track all media you’ve consumed. right now i’m only using it for shows but i genuinely might move my letterboxd and goodreads over once everything has settled down. ### 5/5 — Lots of potential!! *2026-07-27* As a TV Time refugee, it was traumatizing to see one of my favorite apps going under without much warning. I scrambled to find an alternative, and happened upon a rogue post that recommended this, so I gave it a shot. Took a while for my import history to be cleared but boy oh boy was it worth it…the devs make a point to listen to their community & are improving the app constantly. At this point I would say that for a team as small as they are, this app has the potential to surpass TV Time in the coming years, or sooner, given how fast it’s been growing. All the negativity you read is because people either aren’t patient or don’t understand that the Refract team was struggling to keep up with the demand because they’re indie devs, which means they’re a VERY small team. And they exceeded expectations. 11/10. P.S. these guys will get my money. If yall don’t want this to end the same way as TV Time did, I suggest a donation. ### 5/5 — Très satisfaite *2026-07-23* Après avoir dit au revoir à l’appli Tv time j’étais un peu perdu et je ne savais pas du tout vers quelle appli me tourner. On m’a conseillé celle-ci et vraiment trop contente. Facile à comprendre et agréable à utiliser. I have tried trakt, sofa time and serialized in the meantime. Refract is the best, all features are free unlike sofatime which was asking for payment for simple features like lists and changing watched dates. Il serait intéressant de remplacer le bouton central « marqué comme vu » par, par exemple, « ajouté à votre liste » ou « wishlist ». Je pense que naturellement le user utilise l’application pour lister les films/séries qu’il ou elle veut voir, c’est l’essence de l’app si je ne me trompe pas. Du coup autant faciliter le parcours utilisateur et proposer ce choix en priorité ? Le fait que le film soit vu ça peut prendre du temps. Selon moi ça ne constitue pas la finalité première de pourquoi j’ai installé ce type d’app. Sinon très belle application les fonctionnalités de stats sont cools ! As of the writing of this review, I found out TV Time was shutting down about two weeks ago. I love tracking my progress with media and needed an alternative. Went to the TV Time thread on Reddit and saw someone recommending Refract. Downloaded it…and it was a mess of bugs at first. Very slow. My tracked items would reset. Sometimes I would have to close the app and then reopen it just to get it to operate. It needed a lot of work, yet I saw the potential. In just two weeks, the app runs A LOT better. The devs are constantly at work creating a better experience for users. Just this past week alone, there has been 4 or 5 updates (two came in one night). A lot of the major bugs have been fixed. I like the direction they’re going in. Definitely fits what I was looking for and is my tracking app of choice. ### 5/5 — Great app! *2026-07-18* I moved over from TV Time. The app was quite slow for a little bit with the huge influx of new users. However, I am happy to report that the devs worked very hard and the app is fast and smooth now. It has a very nice interface and is actively being developed and improved. The amount of features and customization are awesome. This app went from 3k users to over 100k in a matter of days due to tv time closing! The devs literally worked non stop, allowed thousands of imports and did everything they could to restore, improve and maximum the app to allow all the new users. App is now running amazing fast, no bugs as of yet and has everything tv time had but working flawless! For Starters, TV Time was great, it was simple but it did its job. Wasn’t the prettiest app, but it worked. Refract by it’s superior interface and look have TV Time beat right off the hop with the looks, it just a nice clean look to the profile and search. I love it, but What needs to happen and improve immediately for this app to be successful and better , The app has to function and work! The search function, adding a movie/episode to watched or bookmark it fails half the time or takes way too long. The app constantly pauses and fails, it has way too many bugs clicking on titles and a completely random title appears, app is always freezing and not working, shouldn’t take 5minutes to add a show to your profile. It needs to be a smoother easier experience, the servers need to be upgraded, the app needs multiple updates. I want to love this app as it’s visually appealing but it needs more guts working in the engine. Makes your new phone feel slow. If we can get some updates to patch these issues you will be the new top dog taking TV Times throne. I’m not giving up hope just yet, make it happen Devs! Reddit is supporting you. Fix the app with my complaints and I will change the rating to five stars ****** Edit* July 15th 2026, the app has significantly improved since I initially gave my review, the app is running so much smoother and working faster, I appreciate the Devs for making the necessary improvements to make this app work in all functionality. I know there are plenty of improvements on the way as well 😊 I really enjoy this app and recommended a few of my friends and family to use it as well. One thing I’d like to see now is the ability to see what your friends are watching on the app, the ability to see their profile log. I look forward to seeing more updates and improvements, thank you Refract for stepping up and making a positive difference! TV time sad to see you go but Refract is without a doubt a superior app I can say this handedly now, the links to actors/trailers/ more information, the layout. It’s always reconnecting, updating, having errors like it can’t do this it can’t do that. It’s slow, take’s a thousand years to do one thing. In dark mode the colors are too faint, not enough contrast, so it's barely readable. The import should be improved. Make it open-source this could be community contributed. There was no account. No it requires one. I think it’s actually better than TV time and the developers have been turning out new features non-stop and been amazingly responsive. I love that all the core features are free and the subscription is optional to show your support and get a few few cosmetic extras.
