PROFESSIONAL HELP, PERSONALIZED FOR YOU
Relationship problems can be painful and challenging. Support and guidance from a professional therapist has been shown to make big, positive changes. We created Regain so anyone can have convenient, discreet, and affordable access to professional help.
Common relationship problems people seek help for are difficulty communicating, high levels of conflict, disagreement over finances, children, or in-laws, and problems with infidelity, to name just a few.

LICENSED AND TRAINED THERAPISTS
All therapists on Regain have at least 3 years and 1,000 hours of hands-on experience. They are licensed, trained, experienced and accredited psychologists (PhD/PsyD), marriage and family therapists (MFT), clinical social workers (LCSW), licensed professional counselors (LPC), or similar credentials.

All of our therapists have a Master’s Degree or a Doctorate Degree in their respective fields. They have been qualified and certified by their state professional board and have completed the necessary education, exams, training and practice.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
After filling out our questionnaire, you will be matched with a licensed therapist based on your needs and preferences. You and your therapist will get your own secure and private “therapy room” where you can message your therapist at any time, from any internet-connected device, wherever you are. Your partner will be invited to this room as well if you decide to try therapy together. You can also schedule a session so speak live with your therapist over video or phone.

You can write or talk about yourself, the things going on in your life, ask questions and discuss the challenges you’re facing and your therapist will provide feedback, insights and guidance. This ongoing dialogue is the foundation of your work with your therapist.

If you choose to try therapy on ReGain with your partner (either at the start of therapy, or if you choose to invite them later), your dialogue would be between all three of you: you, your partner, and your therapist. Together you will work towards making a positive change in your relationship and accomplishing your goals.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The cost of therapy through Regain ranges from $60 to $90 per week (billed every 4 weeks) but may be higher based on your location, preferences, and therapist availability. Unlike traditional in-office therapy which can cost over $150 for a single session, your Regain membership includes unlimited text, video, audio messaging as well as weekly live sessions. The subscription is billed and renewed every 4 weeks and includes both the use of the secured site and the counseling service itself. You can cancel your membership at any time for any reason.

I don’t know how people are giving five stars when you pay for the initial account to get started then wait for a therapist to become available and if they’re not available you’re being charged a full month. I paid the initial start $65 and was paired with a therapist that wasn’t available until 2 weeks later, then the next week they tried to charge me $180 for a full 4 weeks.. it’s only been a week after creation, already made a payment as well as a week before the first meeting, if I don’t pay I don’t get the first meeting… what’s the point? Traditional therapy is more convenient.

Good luck getting an appointment… additionally they charge $90 a week regardless if you shrink is able to meet with you.. they do things like schedule separate appointments to with you husband or wife to make more money… it’s a scam .. they don’t send you receipts when they charge you… good luck… could have paid for a divorce lawyer by now

My wife and I attempted couples therapy. The therapist was terrible and only chimed in to say “exhale” we switched therapist and then could not get her to respond. She then missed our appointment with no follow up. The frustration this service caused only further fueled my wife’s and I problems. 2 months of this service and we are out $640, divorcing and don’t have a single positive thing to take away from this app or service. Truly awful practice.

This company is such a joke! I really wonder if they get their therapists from temu. Every single therapist I’ve had from here has been horrible! And for some odd reason, they’re all elderly white woman. They’ve all been unprofessional and I have mental health background, I have 10+ years of experience in private practice so I know the ethical and legal requirements that therapists should review and follow with their clients. One of my therapists would fall asleep during my session and the other therapist was completely invalidating and giving specific directions with biased opinions.

This is my first time writing down a review for an app, let alone a bad one. I usually don’t do this kind of stuff but this app definitely is the worst experience I’ve had. I’ve also heard some bad comments about this one but decided to give it a try and now i kinda regret it. First off, the unfair payment. This app takes money off your card once a week, and this can be unfair to the customers. I’ve had so many therapists either cancel my appointment or switch it to an inconvenient time or day, making me have to either reschedule or cancel. Once a therapist rescheduled me to 6AM literally couple hours before my appointment and I had to cancel it. There’s also cancellation fees but first time is free. The rescheduling of therapists without even telling me beforehand actually went on for a week. Idk if I was unlucky, but I basically paid for nothing in this case. Now about the “therapists”. This is just my opinion from my personal experience, but I genuinely don’t think the people here are actually qualified therapists. When I finally ended up with one, she didn’t seem like she cared about what I had to say and was very dismissive. At the end she said she doesn’t know why me and my partner even need therapy. Umm yeah we only talked for 45 mins AND you basically didn’t even listen to us how are you supposed to know if we need therapy or not. Overall, waste of money and time, I recommend using couple more bucks for an actual therapist or look somewhere else. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE!!
