Race smarter. Regatta Mark Tracker gives sailboat racers real-time bearing, distance, and VMG to every race mark, a committee-synced start timer, and automatic race recording with full map and chart replay — on your iPhone and Apple Watch.

Built for one-design and handicap racing, from club Wednesday-nights to championship regattas.

WIN THE START
A countdown timer you can sync to the committee horn with one tap, then it counts up after the gun. Optional voice announcements call the time so you can keep your head out of the boat.

NAIL EVERY MARK
Live bearing, distance, and Velocity Made Good to the next mark. A red/green port-starboard indicator shows which way to steer, and distance switches to boat-lengths as you close in.

RACE COURSE AUTO-PILOT
Build a course once — start/finish, your marks, and the number of laps — and let the app drive. It switches between the start timer and mark tracking on its own, advances as you round each mark, and resumes right where you left off if you switch apps or restart.

DROPPED MARK (WINDWARD/LEEWARD)
Set a windward or leeward mark from the committee boat in seconds: enter a bearing and distance, capture your position, and start racing.

### 3/5 — Nice app but poorly tested

This is a nice app and good functionality but poorly tested

First, removing a mark doesn’t remove the mark you think, so editing a configuration is frustrating.  Could have been fixed with the smallest testing.

Next, moving the phone from landscape to portrait messes up the relative bearings.  Yeah I get why, but could have been fixed with the smallest amount of testing.

So net net it’s a useful app at the price but be warned hasn’t been tested and will have bugs

I reproduced the bug with deleting marks and I agree this would be frustrating. I'll save you the technical details (and excuses), just know that I have fixed the bug and it will be released in version 1.4.

Tap "Full Screen" on a finished race to watch an animated replay of your track on the map — see your exact path and speed, mark by mark.

WEATHER FORECAST
Real-time wind speed, gusts, direction, and conditions from WeatherKit — now right in the app. See an hourly forecast for your race day, weather alerts when severe conditions are forecast, and tap "Pick on Map" to get the forecast for any location.
