Keep clicking resend and still nothing. When I try and add an address I get “An error occurred. Something went wrong”. ### 1/5 — Horrible app *2022-10-07, version 2.2* This app is incredibly buggy. Forget trying to use your phone’s camera to scan their code as it’s so incredibly sensitive & slow that if you move your hands even slightly the registration doesn’t occur. I tried registering my device with the appropriate serial number and model of the device and the app simply says there’s an “invalid account_name/brand_name mismatch” although it’s perfectly aligned. This app is a waste of space and time. ### 1/5 — 2 Stars *2022-05-31, version 1.11* If the app has a 2.4 rating imagine there products that are being sold, Stay away from this app and email Philips about this app, I’ve tried verifying my email address but unable to. This app needs more work but I see the 2.4 rating says everything I need to know. **Developer response:** We apologize for the frustrating experience you encountered while signing up. Could you please update to the latest v2.2 version (which was released last night) of the app, re-launch the app and retry? The other thing to check would be to see if the email verification code somehow got stuck in your email spam folders. ### 1/5 — Can’t login *2022-01-08, version 1.11* The app won’t accept the four digit code to login. Things started going south with last update about a year ago. Is this product viable? Is anyone working to fix? ??? 16Dec - received email from developer that they have found & resolved issue & to relaunch app. The code was taken but the response was “cannot read server response. Please try again” then “verification failed” after I re-entered same code. ### 1/5 — Incredibly hard to get registered with this app *2021-12-11, version 1.11* for an app that supposed to be made to register your warranties it’s kind of crazy that it’s so hard to get registered with the app. It keeps sending it codes but they never work so you have to keep asking for them over and over again. Please try to re-launch the app. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Outdated & seemingly abandoned by dev *2024-06-03* Over a year since last app update and the website hasn’t seen any changes since 2019… Unless a manufacturer of a particular product is mandating you use this I imagine you’ll have much better luck achieving the same or better using a Google Sheet or your phone’s notes. ### 1/5 — First time I needed it, failure *2024-05-11* Just downloaded this app about 8 months ago when it was referenced by a card that came with the packaging of what I bought. I thought maybe that was smart, having an app to keep product info and registration and dates handy. I registered my Cuisinart dutch ovens. Now both of them that I had gotten brand new have the ceramic coating chipping off and I’ve only used them like 10 times each. I said welp, I better get that registration info bc it should still be under warranty. I open my app and see the cuisinart items pictured but they disappeared immediately. Now no matter what I try, log out and log in… can’t find anything I registered. empty list. But where it tells you what percentage of your house is registered, it says 3% and I see cuisinart referenced there but nothing to click through to any more info about it. THANKS A LOT. ### 1/5 — It Could Be So Good!…So Unfortunate!! *2023-10-19* This app could be SO GOOD and helpful, but there are a lot kinks that need worked out. Unfortunately, their customer service is not helpful. I tried contacting them about an item that I manually added not showing on the Home Screen and they were just rude, unhelpful, and did not understand the issue correctly. It’s sad, because this app could be so very useful! But they don’t even update it regularly. The last update was over a year ago! Sad!! ### 1/5 — Can’t signup *2023-07-27* Cannot signup. Used it once successfully, I think. But track record is now 50%. That’s an F. A sign not to use this app. After numerous attempts gave up and uninstalled. ### 1/5 — Unusable *2023-03-20* It errors every time you try to enter your address. So I tried to add through the bar code feature and it led me to add my address. After I typed in the address and hit submit, it gave an error code like another reviewer experienced. What’s great about the Register app is that now I can see all my products in one single screen. It’s also cool that when I created my account, once I updated my personal information, the app retroactively loaded past products that I had registered. Thanks for your feedback. ### 4/5 — Organizing help for the disorganized *2021-02-25, version 1.11* I just bought a Cuisinart coffeemaker. In the box was a registration paper. It seemed too easy to be true: take a photo of the code and text it to the manufacturer. A text came back with instructions to download this app. When I opened the app, in addition to the newly purchased coffeemaker, a picture came up of my Kitchenaid mixer. Then, I found my Whirlpool microwave was already present in the app too. It's enough to encourage me to register all my appliances! I like that products can be placed in the appropriate room of the house too, though at present, the kitchen is the only room in use. :) The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that products seem to come and go like the Cheshire Cat. The app is new on my phone as of yesterday and I've had to close and open it to see all the products. Maybe it will stabilize? ### 4/5 — Great app to reduce clutter *2020-07-17, version 1.10* This is a great app to reduce clutter. I do have some suggestions. Adding more brands in the product finder, displaying warranty life remaining and also updating the “Purchase Info” page under a product. It doesn’t make sense for it to display the words “Purchased From” and “Purchase Date” only to be redirected to a text box. It should just pull that data to the product page to display.
