I couldn't ask for a better functioning app for keeping these pins in order ### 5/5 — Best Spot Recording App I’ve Found *2020-11-29* This app does it’s job elegantly and flawlessly. Marking down a digital map with places I’ve visited or spent time has long been a hobby, and for years I cycled through multiple iOS apps that accomplished the task in an incomplete or unreliable way. I was immediately overjoyed when I found Rego and have used it ceaselessly for years since. It does everything on my wish list. The developer is responsive and keeps the app up to date, and the backup and export features mean I’ll never lose the mapping data I’ve accumulated. I had some issues migrating my data earlier, but they were able to address the issue very quickly, which is pretty impressive these days. ### 5/5 — Great App *2019-04-19* I’ve been using this for more years than I can possibly remember. I like the fact I can visit a location and pin a place I want to visit or simply take a picture and pin that as well using the app later. I often travel to various locations and trying to remember which hotel I slept at or which places I ate at that the Family finds good is a breeze with this app. I normally create a State folder and every place I enjoy I drop in that folder and when ever we visit it’s not a chore to remember where we slept or ate or simply visited. Thanks Rego!!!!!!! ### 5/5 — Privacy privacy privacy *2019-04-13* Forget the prying eyes of the Foursquare (mining your data for ad purposes) this app is so customizable and it links to my Waze navigation seamlessly. If you actually want to see the “foursquare page” of a particular place, Regg even gives you that option. Allows to add your own pics any any particular site...and so much more. Backs up and restores seamlessly to the cloud (Dropbox) I don’t want to ever need another app like this. ### 5/5 — A must have app *2019-03-15* This app is one of the most useful apps on my phone. Super excited to see it get a new life with Peet Assembly. It is simply the best app for keeping track of places you've been and places you want to go to. I’m using it to document all sorts of places I visit and it never let me down. It’s easy, fast and got a lot of options. Very disappointing ### 1/5 — Need help *2022-11-05, version 2.8.11* So I am only giving this app one star currently because there is no way to get help otherwise. After moving to a new phone and needing to upgrade the app, I tried to restore my Rego library and now the app crashes after every time I try to use it. I have tried the option of deleting the lock file on Dropbox, but it doesn’t exist, even when viewing hidden files. The website is also missing all the images that would help. The only way to contact the developer is through the app but when it won’t open, there is no way to otherwise contact the developers to let them know that there is a bug. Hopefully, they still actually look at these reviews in order to offer help. ### 1/5 — Stürzt nach Update ständig ab *2019-03-15* Tja, das war ja mal nichts. Stürzt beim Import von GPX-Routen ab. Also, the navigation is confusing and non-standard as well. I really hope the new developer starts updating it *regularly*, and takes note of the much needed UX changes. ### 5/5 — Long time satisfied user *2026-02-21* I’ve been using this app consistently for 7 years! I call it my geographical journal. I love being able to pull up notes on everywhere I’ve been, with completely open options on how to categorize to my liking. At a glance, I’ve been to 657 restaurants, 221 hikes, 66 ski resorts, and 13 Trader Joe’s (because why not track Trader Joe’s?). All filled with whatever details I wanted to be able to recall later. Maybe it’s a little better now, but at the time of downloading there wasn’t any apps with anything close to the level of personalization that Rego allows. It seems to be a small user base and I never really see any updates, but it’s honestly got everything I need. ### 5/5 — Love This App! *2025-06-12* Rego is an essential for keeping track of key locations in my travels. The developer was responsive and immediately solved an issue. Really hoping this app continues to update for iOS changes they might screw things up. ### 5/5 — A wonderful local library of your places *2023-12-20* Rego is where I go to save my favorite place I discover locally and when traveling. It helps me recall that restaurant I ate at while traveling, a photo of their menu and notes on prices/what was good. It helps me give activity recommendations to friends when they also visit the same cities I did! And it does this without being tied to any specific service. It’s great and I’ve been using it for years now. A strong recommendation from me. ### 5/5 — Super Useful *2023-06-16* Definitely a top app for me. Too many useful features to name. And very good support. My Sygic maps app has changed the protocol that allows REGO to open a navigation in Sygic (very useful).
