This is by far the best in my opinion, resulting in the most realistic colours. If you have lots of photos to digitise, I highly recommend Reimagine. ### 3/5 — Sign up issue *2024-11-25, version 1.2.13* Never got to use the app as the number of catch’s is unbearable… 12 before I quit and deleted the app ### 2/5 — Cannot access Reimagine *2024-10-09, version 1.2.13* All features of the Reimagine app are supposed to be part of the MyHeritage Omni plan but am unable to access Reimagine. Reimagine does not recognize MyHeritage account. Disappointed that I don’t have full access as this was supposed to be part of this package. You get 4 options “colorize” “enhance” “animate” or “repair” Despite putting in a vast amount of different pictures from different locations, times & settings, not a single one of those 4 options worked in ANY of the photos. Had it been one or two, I could assume the picture was not suitable. But 60-70 photos? Dont waste your time, clearly just a scam to get people’s information. Cancelled instantly ### 2/5 — iOS photo picker inadequate *2024-02-16, version 1.2.9* I enjoy the app for quick repair and colorization of old photos. However, using the app is frustrating as the photo picker only reveals a list of directories not the way Apple intended. I usually resort to using the web based version as that method recognizes folder structure of the Apple photo app, with nesting. This app puts every directory in the picker at one level. For someone who utilizes the photo app the way it was intended for organization, a picker that doesn’t recognize nested directories makes finding a photo impossible. ### 4/5 — Not free! *2024-02-09, version 1.2.8* Description is a little misleading, as nowhere does indicate that this is a subscription service after a very short, free trial. Does work well, however ### 3/5 — Not quite ready for prime time *2024-01-16, version 1.2.7* First, my photos are professional scans of slides that were taken between 1970 and 1985. Evidently before the days of digital sharpness, we were accustomed to some level of blur because these slides looked fine when projected onto a wall. But like another AI enhancer that I tried, this one seems to sharpen the faces, leaving a bizarre scene of sharp features on a blurry body and background. And sometimes the interpretation leads to grotesque features, especially on babies. If the photo is only very slightly blurry, this does a good job. But if the photo is only very slightly blurry, it’s probably acceptable as is. ### 1/5 — DO NOT USE or will delete all your data on MyHeritage *2023-12-23, version 1.2.4* I changed phone and tried to open the app. I press login with Apple ID by mistake instead of login with my email. It created a new account, which wasn’t links to my subscription. So I deleted the account on the app to log again with my email… unfortunately as soon as you click delete, no warning… you receive an email saying that ALL data, tree etc in MyHeritage has also been deleted. Somehow it connected to my email with Apple ID and erased all! I tried to call tech support, which ask for my ID or email but since it no longer exist, they can’t help! A complete nightmare and an awful support from the technical team! I have all email and subscription saved on email but no one in MyHeritage even acknowledged it! So DO NOT UsE or use it at your own risk! ### 3/5 — Why Charge Full Prices for it If I Already have My Heritage *2023-11-21, version 1.2.1* I was super excited at first, but now I find myself disappointed. I along with many others had been optimistic that there would be additional features that I would acquire by paying for the Reimagine app in addition to my heritage. Now, knowing that it serves me no purpose to pay for both of them, this is likely the last time that I do That and they certainly will encourage others to explore other options before considering paying for both. I have already had my heritage for several years. Actually, recently I had primarily had it for the benefit of color rising photos. Issue is, however is that other products have come onto the market that actually outperform it in many regards. Is I have frequently found myself as one who recommends apps and solutions for others, I cannot write fully answer that this is the top solution. Now that I can use apps, such as adobe, Photoshop, even Ancestry, also photo enhancer is well as at least another five decent apps for colorizing, I am not so quick to respond, that my heritage or reimagine, as being the one top solution for color rising or restoring photos. I have restored thousands of photos, and I still find that my heritage and reimagine. This product is still lacking when it comes to giving clarity, removing scratches, and with added features to restore, choosing a replacement color, or replace issues where the sky is discolored, or even clothing is discolored and fixing it. Approximately three-fouryears ago I had a substantial conversation with someone providing support. I was providing the specific steps that I go through to consistently leave me with a colorized image with no incorrect or non-optimal color choices. (an example is like someone wearing blue jeans and a red shirt, and if the image has specific characteristics that are not corrected in advance, red and blue colors will be blended and clothing does not turn out correctly. All colorizing choices with reimagine order my heritage always has to include time for me to remove the watermark for the colorization logo. Always a major inconvenience when there is anything where there is text and that logo destroys any hand written or typed text. Lately it has nearly eliminated Me from using your product to Colorize the image. Yes, this was lengthy response Dang, I was so hoping for one full featured app. My recommendation for others is to consider looking into a subscription through Adobe on a monthly basis. Done directly through Adobe. If done through the App Store. You will end up paying more than if you do buying a subscription directly through Adobe. ### 1/5 — Errors *2023-10-30, version 1.2.0* All day, nothing but errors. Several attempts to get it sorted via the help system have only generated automatic generic responses. It tries to only crop the card inside and even then it wasn't great. Sometimes it doesn’t enhance the pictures properly. It doesn’t enhance anything but the faces. It freezes up. It has an extremely limited user FAQ and instruction. And before my free trial was done I was cut off because I reached the limit, even though I had authorized a subscription payment. I’m in the middle of the big project and I’m cut off from the app until I get this resolved. Response time from the help centre is three days. The restore purchase function on the app doesn’t work properly because there’s a problem with the mail account.
