## What is Reisespur?

After a trip, the photos stay – but the story behind them fades fast. Reisespur turns your trip photos into a travel journal and, in the end, a finished PDF travel book. Completely private, on your iPhone, iPad or Mac.

YOUR PHOTOS BECOME A TRIP
• Reisespur finds the photos from your trip dates
• Or only from one of your own or shared albums, if you like
• Automatically sorted into moments by day and place
• Likely duplicates and bursts are already deselected – when you import again, so are all photos already in the trip
• Add photos from the day of a moment later, flipping through the days of your trip
• Long-press photos to view them large and swipe through them

EVERY MOMENT LIKE IN THE BOOK
• A moment shows its photos arranged just as they will appear in the travel book
• Clean up duplicate moments and photos with a single tap
• Edit several moments at once: give them the same place, merge them, move them to another day or delete them
• Sort moments by time

IT ALMOST WRITES ITSELF
• Sights down to the last detail: Reisespur searches Wikipedia based on where a photo was taken – from the cathedral to the well inside it. You pick the right section as a short summary
• Search yourself if you have something specific in mind, and set the place by hand when a photo has none
• Suggest a daily recap: a first draft of your day that you can edit
• Location and weather are added automatically
• Voice notes for everything you'd rather tell

YOUR TRAVEL BOOK
• Cover page with your own cover photo, days with map, photos and text
• Three styles: Classic, Magazine and Compact – portrait or landscape
• Photos are cropped to fit, faces stay in the frame
• Voice notes as QR codes in the book
• Share as a PDF or have it printed by a photo book service

LITTLE DELIGHTS
• Share as a postcard: a moment with all its photos laid out like in the book – or with your favorite photo. For Messages, AirDrop, Instagram and more
• "On this day": memories of earlier trips
• A day map that draws your route stop by stop

STAY ON BUDGET
• Log expenses in seconds
• Scan receipts – amount, date, currency and merchant are recognized
• Foreign currencies at the ECB rate of the receipt date
• Overview by category and budget pace

HIKING & ACTIVITY
• Optional with Apple Health: steps, distance and recorded routes in your travel book

ON THE MAC, TOO
• On Macs with Apple silicon in a large window – ideal for writing and sorting
• The day map shows map and moments side by side on the big screen
• Delete and save with a right-click, save postcards as PNG files

PRIVATE FROM THE START
• No account, no ads, no tracking
• Your photos and notes stay on your device
• No AI looks at your pictures: "What's this?" is a Wikipedia search. Only the moment's location and any search term you enter are sent – never your photos
• Image analysis and receipt scanning run right on your device
• Optional app lock with Face ID
• Backup as a file, e.g. in iCloud Drive

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.6 — 2026-10-29

• Choose your own photo crop: Tap "Adjust photo crop" on a moment, then drag and zoom the photo or show it whole. The crop applies to every layout in the travel book.
• Smarter automatic crop: Heads and people stay visible in the travel book, even for portrait photos in landscape frames.
• Keep moments together: Related moments, such as starter, main course and dessert, stay on one page of the travel book. Use "Select" and "Keep Together" on the day map, or set it in the moment itself.
• A moment can start on a new page of the travel book.
• Weather and Apple Health in the travel book can each be turned off. Without weather, no Apple Weather notice appears.
• "What is this?" is now also available directly when viewing a moment. The information from Wikipedia is free.
• Edit moment: The travel book layout now appears directly below the photos.
• Creating the travel book: progress per day, and it keeps going if the app briefly moves to the background.
* The trip list shows the travel book’s style, page count and date.
Thanks for your feedback.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-10-28

• Day map for large screens: On Mac and iPad in landscape, the map and your moments now appear side by side, with a much larger map and photo.
• Edit several moments at once: Tap "Select" on the day map to give several moments the same place, merge them into one moment, move them to another day or delete them.
• Import from an album: When importing photos, you can now choose one of your own or shared albums, for example your already sorted or edited vacation photos. Only photos from that album taken during your trip are imported.
• The home screen widget is now available in English.
• Lower memory use for the travel book and the moments list, even for moments with lots of photos.

Thanks for your feedback.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-10-27

• Tipp: Einzelne Fotos kannst du jederzeit kostenlos hinzufügen.
