All the previous functionality is still there, but the interface has been updated to conform to modern Apple standards. With Acknowledgement enabled, Reiterate steps up your self-coaching to the next level. After each clip plays, the app will listen for you to repeat it back. Reiterate uses voice recognition technology to verify that you have acknowledged each clip as it plays. After your session ends, you receive a feedback display showing how many clips you missed. Now you have a concrete goal to improve your improvement! ### 1.3.8 — 2021-03-10 New Features: - Sessions can now play in the background! From the Play tab, you can switch to any other app and still hear your clips. - To enable background play, there is a new switch in the Settings tab. Background play is disabled by default. - You can also turn popups on and off. With popups off, you will only hear the clips play with no visual indicator. - You might have to adjust the notification permissions of the app. It should prompt you if necessary. Improvements: - Made a slight behavior change in how tags respond to being tapped. Instead of always cycling through their 3 states, they try to guess what you want. - The New Session alert box will capitalize the first word you enter. - The app will perform a cleanup pass on startup. It removes "orphaned" sound files that were taking up space but not used by any clip. - A small animation was added to the clip interval setting control. Fixes: - Muting all clips in a session would cause a crash - The New Clip button could be mispositioned on an iPhone 8 - Clip interval minutes can no longer scroll to negative values Known deficiencies: - Only shuffle-timed clips will play in the background for now - Only clips recorded with this version of Reiterate will play in the background.
