### 1/5 — Only if insurance pays 100% of the cost

*2026-02-24*

One day it’s a memory game with people’s faces. The next day it’s a five minute animated video with trite advice.

Repeat pattern for six weeks and charge $100

**Developer response:** I'm sorry this was your experience.
Rejoyn is designed to be
challenging and repetitive to help train the brain

to better process emotions.

There are 2 core components featured in Rejoyn. The first
component is the proven brain-training exercise, in which you'll identify and remember
emotions to help strengthen connections in your brain. The second component is the short skills-based therapy lessons, which will teach you skills that have been shown to help treat depression symptoms.

People in a clinical trial who stuck with it and
finished the 6-week treatment experienced a
reduction in their depression symptoms.

### 1/5 — Just like stopping your antidepressants abruptly…

*2025-10-18*

Continuing access to the CBT lessons stops after 6 weeks. The EFMT was not that helpful but I thought the daily modules were beneficial. It would be interesting to know if the EFMT research included the modules. As a physician, I find the cessation of access to CBT reprehensible. Pay your fee, use the program and …oops, too bad you can’t use the modules any longer to continue to reinforce what you learned. Reinforcement is vital to the success of any type of therapy. So, Rejoyn has failed to fulfill their responsibility in providing treatment that will provide lasting support and reinforcement of the CBT presented in the program. Abrupt abandonment of patients…unacceptable. You are better off buying a book that you can keep and refer to when you need a refresher/review/ boost.

### 1/5 — Profit for Big Pharma

*2025-06-08*

After seeing an ad for this app a little while ago, I thought it seemed cool. I have MDD and BD and am on several anti-depressant medications that work together. I thought trying this on top of that would be cool. But it’s locked behind a wall - you need a real life doctor to ‘prescribe’ the app. Well, ok, sure. Big problem though, my Primary Care Physician never heard of the app, and thought it sounded fake. So, no ‘prescription’.

If they really wanted to help people, they would simply charge a monthly fee like every other app or SaaS. They’re pulling some scam on health insurance companies instead, and toting an unavailable app to the depressed.

It’s depressing, really.

### 1/5 — So disappointed

*2024-11-23*

I was so excited! There’s so many exercises they could do to improve depression and add. Unfortunately they are a total scam. There is ONE exercise. It is the SAME every single day. It made me depressed, and angry. What an absurd joke! Free apps with no prescription do way way better. I am in shock. They called to see if I needed any support. She confirmed there’s just one exercise ever every day. It’s a memory test. How depressing! Asked how she could help. I said maybe money back? They don’t give refunds. Total scam and a joke

**Developer response:** You’re right—the brain-training exercises in Rejoyn are the same, but that's intentional! You can think of it like physical therapy for the brain. Repeating the exercise in Rejoyn over time is meant to strengthen connections in the brain. This can help you better process emotions, which may reduce depression symptoms, and is backed by clinical research.

While the exercise may seem repetitive, it’s dynamic by design. The difficulty level automatically adjusts based on the individual, ensuring the experience evolves with your needs and challenges you in new ways.

We understand that this approach may not be right for you and didn’t meet your expectations. we’re here if you have further questions or need additional support.

### 2/5 — Not helpful

*2024-11-04*

I really had high hopes for this app. The lessons were ok, but the repetitiveness of the exercises was annoying and frustrating and made me feel worse. I couldn’t complete the 6 week program and would not recommend it. Requiring a prescription makes it sound therapeutic, but don’t fall for it.

### 3/5 — Honest review

*2024-11-06*

This app is a shady profit draw. You have to go pay a doctor to approve this “medication”. Silly and greedy.

### 5/5 — A powerful non-drug treatment for my depression

*2025-03-26*

Rejoyn is a game-changer for anyone navigating depression. The app is beautifully designed, easy to use, and offers evidence-based tools that truly make a difference. From guided exercises to insightful progress tracking, Rejoyn provides a structured yet flexible approach to improving mental well-being. What sets it apart is its ability to complement traditional treatment while empowering users with practical strategies they can apply daily. I have noticed that I’m feeling better after the 6 weeks

### 5/5 — Honduras

### 5/5 — $30 for prescription and $50 for pharmacy

*2024-10-24*

48 hr wait not up front with details. Spent two hours with different support teams to find this out, and no ability to get your $30 back as with a different company per support. Had high expectations but this is more stress at this point.
