### 2/5 — Not usable for families w/o Danish passport

*2026-08-22*

I can use it for myself, but my teenage kids cannot be registered as we do not habe a Danish passport. This is ridiculously overengineered for an app to enable low barrier use of public transport.
Why not just use the original fairtiq app as many other European regions do?

### 3/5 — It works but doesn’t care if it takes more money than it deserves

*2026-06-07*

The app is easy to set up and use. It accepts Apple Pay. It’s nice that you get a discount during non peak hours. It’s infinitely better than the Rejsebillet app which is a total piece of garbage.

Unfortunately it doesn’t charge fairly. For example, if you were to buy a 4-zone ticket, it would be cheaper than two 2-zone tickets. So in this example, if you’re traveling between 2 zone and your total trip is over 1.25 hours but less than 1.75 hours it would be cheaper to buy a 4-zone ticket.

Another example is that if you check out after your first route, but then check back in on your return journey before the 1.25 hours limit, it doesn’t necessarily honor the fact that a single ticket would have covered that route.

It clearly lists the history and timing of all your stops on the route so in theory it could be programmed to give you the best deal you would have gotten based on your actual travel history.

Instead you have to predict what will be the best value which means not necessarily checking out when you’re done with the first leg of your trip. And as far as I can tell you can’t just buy a 4-zone priced single ticket (which would cover two 2-zone trips at a cheaper rate if you’re trip is in the 1.25 to 1.75 hour range) so it feels like you’re getting extorted a little bit.

Denmark has a complicated system with the number of zones and ticket length time and cost being quite variable. But it seems like the app errs on the side of not caring too much if the customer overpays.

That being said it does alert you if it thinks you forgot to check out so it is doing some things respectfully and honorably. If you accidentally check in but don’t go anywhere it will also not charge you arbitrarily.

I hope they can fix this in the future and make it more fair. But at least it actually works and is easy to use otherwise. It just needs to be better to deserve a higher rating.

### 1/5 — Non working

*2026-05-23, version 1.6.4*

I tried to register with a U.S. number and whenever I switched the country code the app went to a solid blue screen. Nothing I could do allowed me to pass it. I was unable to use the app throughout my trip to Denmark. :(

### 1/5 — Be careful, they will scam you

*2026-05-07*

The old paper tickets gave you a time window — 1 hour for 2 zones, 1.5 hours for 3, and so on — during which you could hop on and off freely. The plastic Rejsekort card kept that same logic: check in, transfer, check out, and the system recognized you’d already paid for your time window. Re-boarding within that window cost nothing extra.

The app has thrown all of that out.

Now, checking out ends your ticket instantly — even if you’re still within the time and zone window you paid for. Step off, then back on, and you’re charged again. But if you don’t check out, you get fined.

So you’re forced to leave the app checked in for your entire journey and only check out when you’re completely done — a behavior change from everything that came before, with financial penalties in both directions if you get it wrong.

This isn’t a minor UX tweak. It’s a deliberate regression that quietly takes more money from passengers who don’t realize the rules have changed.

**Developer response:** Hi ExperientialDesigner,
Thank you for your review. Let us first assure you, that the app is not made to take money from passengers. Yes, the option to travel continously instead of breaking up the journey is a difference from the old systems. But we are working on a solution and will launch is as soon as possible. Best regards, Anna, Rejsekort & Rejseplan A/S

### 1/5 — English eSIM

*2026-05-03, version 1.6.3*

Unable to establish an account when traveling using eSIM.

### 2/5 — Registration process

*2026-04-25*

Very annoying and laggy, super user unfriendly

### 1/5 — Useless

*2026-04-20*

This app does not work. It is so useless. Good luck adding your children. It will take hours and most likely not work. Also a 17 year old is unable to pay for their own tickets. This should be illegal. Criminal scam!

### 1/5 — Drains phone battery so fast and is bad

*2026-04-12*

A piece of filth

### 1/5 — Bad Experience

*2026-03-19*

Very bad experience with Trafikselskabet Movia. The app is not user-friendly, especially for tourists. We tried to check in while rushing to catch the bus and only managed to do it right after sitting down – yet we were fined as if we hadn’t paid at all.

There is no clear guidance, no flexibility, and no understanding for honest mistakes. What made it even worse was the unfriendly staff, who didn’t explain anything or help us understand what we did wrong.

Overall, the system feels unfair and poorly designed. Definitely not a good experience.

**Developer response:** Hi ellenmia03.
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear about your bad experience with the app which should be user friendly, as it only takes a swipe to check in. Could it be due to lack of internet connection? We apologize for that. Regarding the staff on the bus, please refer to Movia, as we do not have any say over customer contact when travelling. We do hope you get a better experience in the future. Best regards, Anna, Rejsekort & Rejseplan A/S

### 4/5 — Checking out

*2026-03-19*

It would be nice if there was an option to type in destination or estimated destination so that it doesn't check you out and so you don't constantly have to check your phone paranoid and stressed about automatic checkout . For example if I'm going from Odense to Aarhus, I don't want to get checked out in Fredericia just because of train delays or cancellations, I want to be able to type in final destination Aarhus and then just not worry about this crummy app checking me out simply because an extra hour has been added to my journey or because I spend that hour going to the supermarket to get a sandwich and water to eat at the station . ( picnic tables /cafe tables are even better for elderly and disabled)would be nice to have, and charge ports at stations would also be great. More seating areas at stations and no smoking in or around lifts or platforms would be nice too

**Developer response:** Hi KoffiKitty,
Thank you for your review. In case the Rejsekort-app estimates that your journey has come to an end, it will send you a request asking if you want to check out. Just click no, and you continue your checked in ticket. If you want to type in destination, you could go for the other app, Rejsebillet, which gives you that exact option. Options for charging and seating are not within our area of business, unfortunately. Please contact DSB on that matter :-) We wish you an onward nice journey. Best regards, Anna, Rejsekort & Rejseplan A/S

### 1/5 — 개씨발 병신 고아앱

Unfortunately, we cannot translate from Korean. Best regards, Mette, Rejsekort & Rejseplan A/S

### 1/5 — .

*2026-09-03*

**Developer response:** Hej, tak for din anmeldelse. Hvis du foretrækker et fysisk kort frem for Rejsekort-appen, kan du også benytte et Basiskort. Det kan være et godt alternativ, hvis du gerne vil rejse uden at bruge appen. Med venlig hilsen, Lea, Rejsekort & Rejseplan A/S

### 1/5 — The app does not work with US phone numbers.

*2026-07-12*

The developer is incompetent. The verification texts never arrive. Despite my best attempts to activate the account, there is no way to pass the activation page. Ended up traveling for free during my weekend in Copenhagen. The drivers were kind enough to understand the technical challenges created by their inept IT colleagues.

### 1/5 — App does not work

*2026-07-09*

We could never install this app because the app never sent us the text message we needed to verify our accounts. Three of us tried separately and none of us were able to receive the text message.

### 1/5 — Where’s the verification email?!

*2026-07-08, version 1.6.8*

Downloaded twice now and it won’t send an email for a verification code. What gives

### 1/5 — Not getting sms verification code via foreign phone

*2026-07-03*

Try to preload the app b4 travel but never receive the sms code via phone. If I download the app when I arrive Denmark, the eSIM does not have phone number to receive sms anyway. What good is this app for?

### 1/5 — Wouldn’t send mobile verification code

*2026-07-03*

Unfortunately the app requires a phone number for mobile verification which isn’t ideal for tourists. It didn’t send a verification code to our Canadian numbers, so couldn’t use the app and had to buy paper tickets

### 1/5 — Can’t get past phone verification

*2026-06-01*

The app won’t let me past the phone verification screen. Once I try to change the country of the phone number the app crashes. When I enter the country code and phone number manually I just never receive the message. If I try to go back from verification code screen the app crashes.
It says that the phone number is needed for additional communication, so I feel like it shouldn’t even be required.

### 1/5 — Hit check out by accident

*2026-05-31*

Hit check out by accident but couldn’t reverse and amend to carry on travel

### 1/5 — All your data is needed

*2026-05-23*

Account needs to be created, email and phone must be provided just to use public transport during a weekend trip in Copenhagen. Appalling.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — So convenient

*2026-08-17*

I love these transportation apps they make life so much easier.

### 5/5 — Very intelligent

*2026-08-15*

Very intelligent piece of software. It’s good at filling the gaps if you forget to log in or out.

### 5/5 — Very well designed and easy to use

*2026-08-12*

This is how an app for local transportation should look like. After setting up payment methods and allowing auto check out when leaving the station, the only thing you need to do is check in before you start to travel (can only be done near to a station). Lovely and will miss this when being back in Germany 😊

At first use I had slight issues checking in since the app asked if I am on train xy which blocked the slider. But no big deal really

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2026-07-26*

Convenient and easy to use for every mode of public transit: metro, s-bahn, bus, and boat. There are frequent trains and buses too.

### 5/5 — Amazing app

*2026-06-03*

As a tourist in Copenhagen, this app has made getting around so easy

### 5/5 — Best travel

*2026-06-03*

An amazing transport system.

### 5/5 — Great transportation

*2026-05-18*

We figured the metro out the 2nd day and made it to where we needed to go.

### 5/5 — English speaking tourists should use this!

*2026-04-18*

It’s so easy, and cheaper than buying individual passes.

I see some reviews saying you need an EU phone number to create an account, maybe it’s true — but the app lets you input phone numbers from anywhere, though. Maybe download it in your home country and make an account before arriving? I have a French phone number too so it was no issue for me.

Anyway, pair this with Rejseplanen app and you’re golden.

What a beautifully modern and seamless experience.

### 5/5 — Better than NES aYork City by 100%

*2026-03-15*

Compared to New York City’s “MTA” where I live rejsekort is far superior

**Developer response:** Hi Fussy Mabel,
Thank you for your 5-star review! Always good to hear the app works as it should, and maybe even better than the MTA :-) Best regards, Anna, Rejsekort & Rejseplan A/S

### 5/5 — Convenient and Efficient

*2025-12-18*

As a tourist visiting Denmark for over 40 years this is a most useful app. I do wonder if it is available as an Apple Watch version in addition to the iPhone version.
