## Newest reviews (12 of 34)

### 1/5 — Why did the update make the app worse

*2023-07-25, version 23.06.14*

Less features than before…why. I can’t see my packages or see and modify guest access

### 1/5 — Downgraded

*2023-07-04, version 23.06.14*

Every time they update the app it gets worse and worse. Removed great features like the key which was super useful for my kids.

### 1/5 — Downgrade

*2023-06-26, version 23.06.14*

Took away the few useful features the app had (package delivery for one) and is now a cluttered mess

### 1/5 — New app - too many bugs

*2023-06-25, version 23.06.14*

Can’t submit maintenance requests as of 6/24 and view our bill

### 1/5 — Loss of Features

*2023-06-24*

Agree with the last review. A useful app has been ruined with a UI update that omits key features like FaceID, the Bluetooth key to unlock my door. Instead there’s new content which I don’t care for. Key features seem to be missing and this tries to steer you to use Bilt for payments which has privacy concerns.

### 1/5 — Worst update

*2023-06-20*

What on Earth. You took a decent all and made it unusable. It’s complicated to use and has a terrible user experience. Switch back to the old app!

### 1/5 — No way to split rent

*2021-07-24, version 1.8.0*

I live with housemates and there’s no way for us to each pay our share of the rent. One of us needs to pay and the others Venmo the person who paid.

### 1/5 — Login fail

*2020-02-05, version 1.3.11*

Unable to log into the related connect app, despite several password reset attempts. Password reset seems to work, but redirected to a “service unavailable” page when attempting to use it to login. Only way to get help is via email, but for this kind of app I think a telephone support number is more appropriate.

### 1/5 — Can’t perform any tasks

*2020-02-03, version 1.3.11*

I can’t manage rent payments, submit service requests, or do any of the things this app says it does with regard with managing my apartment rental.

### 1/5 — Consistent with everything Related does. Garbage!

*2019-11-29, version 1.3.9*

Just like everything Related does! Garbage! Does not work!

### 1/5 — Couldn’t open it

*2019-06-09, version 1.3.2*

I have been a tenant in a Related building for more than two and a half years and have an Internet account with Related. When I tried to use my email and password with this app, I wasn’t “recognized.” I tried getting help from the “help desk,” but that was useless. Rather than mess around with this any further, I have deleted the app. Related needs to go back to the drawing board on this one.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2019-05-02, version 1.3.0*

Does not allow you to change your password.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Can’t sign in anymore as Tenant

*2026-04-26, version 25.02.05*

I am unable to sign in anymore using my regular email. How am I supposed to ask for maintenance help for my apartment???

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2026-03-06, version 25.02.05*

I had an awful experience with this app. It logged me out and told me to sign back in using my business email. When I tried both my business email and the regular email I had been using before, the system said neither was recognized. When I tried to report the issue, the app just kept telling me to make sure I was using the correct email, which wasn’t helpful at all. There’s basically no real support available through the app.

Overall, the app feels terribly designed and extremely frustrating to use. It seems like they have no intention of fixing the problems. Now, instead of handling things easily in the app, I have to contact people by phone or email, and if I’m not home I can’t even talk to anyone in person. The response time is often very slow. The only useful thing about the app used to be submitting maintenance requests, but now even that feels unreliable.

### 1/5 — Absolutely Horrible

*2026-03-04, version 25.02.05*

App logged me out den told me to sign in using business email I put my regular email I had in before the one they logged me out of and it’s saying that my email isn’t recognized in any of the building system. When your press report it just tells you to make sure you’re using the correct email. There’s no real way to get help or support on this app. App is disgustingly horrible and just down right bad and they have no plans on fixing it clearly just a waste now u have to go talk to ppl and call and send emails of your not home to physically talk to anyone and sometime the response time is very long. Other than when I can just submit a maintenance request in the app and it gets done

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2025-12-06, version 25.02.05*

After being on for a few years telling me that I need to put in my business email as I am a resident .. this makes no sense sent numerous emails to no avail Horrible app

### 1/5 — Keeps crashing

*2025-10-21, version 25.02.05*

This app keeps refreshing and going back to the previous step every 5 seconds.

### 1/5 — Buggy

*2024-06-04, version 24.02.13*

Can't add a maintenance request from the app

### 1/5 — No Face ID

*2024-02-12, version 23.11.08*

This app logs me out every few days and doesn’t support Face ID.

### 1/5 — Poor user functionality

*2023-12-06, version 23.11.08*

They removed mobile key, this is literally the worst app ever because they removed core functionality. Whichever product manager, development studio and devs created this; this is an insult to the craft of making good apps

### 1/5 — Features removed

*2023-09-28*

Why did you remove the ability to open our apartment doors? And when is it coming back?

### 1/5 — Bad update

*2023-08-04, version 23.06.14*

The new version not show delivery anymore. The update makes my life harder.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Maintenance tracking is a game changer

*2026-06-07, version 25.02.05*

A few months in and I can say: I love being able to see exactly when someone is coming and what's been done. No more wondering if my request got lost. Highly recommend.

### 5/5 — My Related

*2022-04-23, version 1.9.6*

Keep up the good work!

### 5/5 — Convenient

*2020-07-11, version 1.3.13*

I love that I can see everything from my payment and package delivery etc all in one place.

### 5/5 — Convenient appli

*2018-12-17, version 1.1.3*

It’s very cool. But I would suggest that it might be more convenient if the service and delivery list will be reverse order.

### 4/5 — Looking for Home Key Support in iOS 15

*2021-11-16, version 1.9.3*

Pretty good app but would love to see the unlock feature updated to support keys in the Wallet app. The current unlock feature is a bit rickety.

### 3/5 — Ok

*2022-03-16, version 1.9.6*

Would be better if app provided options for service requests for amenities, such as issues with gym equipment.

### 3/5 — Useful app for my apartment building

*2021-08-28, version 1.8.1*

This is a great app. I love how I can see my service requests to Managment. The only “1” thing I would love to have is the ability to upload a photograph along with my service request. A picture is worth a thousand words so along with a note of what needs to be done if I need to attach a photograph from my iPhone showing what the issue is that would be very helpful. Thank you!!

### 2/5 — Half-baked

*2021-09-18, version 1.9.1*

While the app is useful for submitting service requests, the push notifications do not work at all and packages rarely register—I don’t know if this is a software bug or if the building simply does not log packages as they arrive. Whatever the case may me, it’s completely unreliable.

### 2/5 — Buggy

*2019-03-22, version 1.2.5*

Not allowing push notifications despite the option to. Page appears full of coding text after hitting save.

### 2/5 — Difficult to use

*2019-02-27, version 1.2.4*

It wouldn’t let me change my password from the original one it gave me, and I couldn’t open any of my messages in the inbox.
It does look really nice, though.
