### 4/5 — Great App but need full version

*2024-07-09*

Great concept and training with Lite version. Unfortunately the full version not available in US! Is this a problem?

### 4/5 — Useful

*2022-01-03, version 1.16.2*

A straightforward and useful app to get started on ear training

### 4/5 — Okay but...,

*2020-03-31, version 1.16.2*

I've had a few goes of this app and this what I've found, when it is freshly installed it seems pretty easy (after I've done a ton of practise with it), but the more you use it the harder it gets, the range of pitches increases and those high note are hard to tell apart. The notes then are given different timbre and overtones so you don't associate timbre or overtone with a particular interval. This is when the going gets tough.

To do it properly you have to go through all the pitches and overtone to grasp a mental idea of what the different intervals sound like harmonically and as single intervals.

If you do it for a week and think you've done it, you haven't tried it until you've heard the full range of pitches and timbre.

The progress indicator wasn't to flash on the previous version of this app that I had installed. Some days/weeks it really seems like I'm going backwards.

### 5/5 — great

*2020-02-29, version 1.16.2*

great app，thanks

### 5/5 — Landscape Mode

*2019-11-23, version 1.16.2*

This app has been helpful to me as a new musician. Only thing I wish I could use it in landscape view on iPad. If you consider that and make it available you may be close to perfection. Thank you, guys.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2019-11-23*

Instructions unclear - accidentally summoned the devil when I got to the Tritone

### 5/5 — Nice

*2019-11-01, version 1.16.2*

Good introduction to ear training. Simple to use.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2019-07-18, version 1.16.2*

Very useful app. Plenty to work on in the lite version but probably upgrade to the full version in order to keep stretching myself.

### 4/5 — Good

*2019-07-13*

Straightforward app without superfluous bells & whistles. I REALLY like the “Training” setting which plays a constant stream of intervals without having to start each one individually like in so many other apps. This is ideal for hours of fun in the car!
I’d have to take a star away for the oddly high price for the full version of such a basic app.

### 5/5 — Lite version

*2019-06-27*

Makes the learning fun and compelling!

### 4/5 — Great

*2019-01-20, version 1.16.2*

Nice and easy to use for keeping your ears in tune!

### 4/5 — relative pitch

*2018-12-03*

Tried perfect pitch training... usually got about 60% correct; so decided to try relative pitch. This is my first day— and I’ve had some success, some challenges... but I’m enjoying it and I may develop better pitch discrimination.

### 5/5 — Çoğ iyi

### 5/5 — This app

*2018-07-21, version 1.16.2*

For someone such as myself with no sense of pitch at all, this has been very helpful but it has taken me 6 months of listening on a daily basis to improve noticeably.

### 5/5 — Great ear training

*2018-04-08, version 1.16.2*

Particularly like the ‘custom’ test, where you can pick the intervals you want to train / test with.

### 5/5 — Convenient

*2018-03-16*

Does what it says it will do. Easy to use. Convenient for those moments when you have to wait in line or have a few free moment

### 5/5 — Relative Pitch Lite

*2017-12-05*

This app allows custom comparison of intervals and a review if an error is made. Very useful.

### 5/5 — Interval ear training apps... There is no better!

*2017-12-03*

Choose your intervals, up or down the scale, ascending, descending, and harmonies. Plus any kind of musical voice this app does it all! Plus it allows you to customize to include only some or all intervals. Need interval training? You want need anything else!

### 4/5 — Easy to use

*2017-10-23, version 1.16.1*

A great little addition to my ear training collection, it works straight away

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not worth it

*2020-05-04, version 1.16.2*

It is a waste of time. There are hardly any levels here and even those where you get a perfect score - for some reason only provides 1/3 stars

### 1/5 — Achei uma merda

*2017-09-21, version 1.16.2*

E.

### 1/5 — Terrible battery life

*2016-03-15, version 1.16.2*

Battery life is cut short due to unreasonable background activity. Uninstall ASAP.

### 1/5 — always the same

*2015-02-13*

it always starts on C to go up on the scale, never another root and never goes down

### 2/5 — Battery Killer !

*2016-02-06*

I would've given 5 stars but this app absolutely destroys battery life on my 6S. It makes no sense either why an ear training app has to use that much battery life just from running background. I only actually use the app 10 mins per day.

### 2/5 — Muito pouco

*2015-02-15, version 1.16.1*

A versão gratuita oferece muito pouco. Só dá pra treinar uníssono, tom, semitom, oitava e terças maiores e menores.

### 2/5 — Starts great...then goes downhill.

*2014-05-14, version 1.13*

It's a cool app to start with. Then if you want to run the training again (cos let's face it, you're not going to recall
It all after hearing it once) it is impossible to start the training again. Clunky. I wouldn't go for the full paying version after this one. It's just too hard to navigate.

### 2/5 — Could be better

*2011-11-14*

Nice but the pitch of the firts note never changes ..

### 3/5 — Good, But

*2012-05-24*

Good, I wish you could customize in whether pitch goes up, down or both and start on different notes not just the one the entire time.

### 3/5 — Ear training made easy!

*2010-10-11, version 0*

Get this now! At least try it. Very proffesionally done ap and helps tremendously with ear training. Vocalist especially need this. Also instrumentalist and anyone trying to improve sight reading or melodia sollfege reading. however, the starting note should be a different note each time to Make this app really help you in real life

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

The app is simple to use and straight to point. I appreciate the ease of use. Has guitar or piano settings. Allows me to train my ear to be able to distinguish intervals.

### 5/5 — Fine for beginner

*2024-02-24*

Proceed as slowly as you like. No more tone deaf people with this patient program

A very patient teacher.

### 5/5 — Great

Such a useful app

### 5/5 — Ear training

*2023-03-30*

Excellent tool for training!

### 5/5 — Paid version?

*2022-12-04*

It is prompting me to upgrade to the paid version and I cannot find the paid version anywhere?

### 5/5 — Ear by ear!

*2022-06-13, version 1.16.2*

Learning to listen! Great.

### 5/5 — Great for beginners

*2021-01-12*

I have an ear that struggles with even tuning a guitar. Some other apps are made for people with more talent and skills than I have but this one starts you off easy and you can increase your capability as you progress. Perfect for someone like me.

### 5/5 — Outstanding

*2020-11-09*

It is essential for all musicians to develop a solid foundation in actually hearing the music instead of merely mechanically playing. This app provides those tools and is most highly recommended.

### 5/5 — Happy beginner

*2020-10-16, version 1.16.2*

Music newbie with a lot to learn. Thanks for making this available.

### 5/5 — Very good

*2020-08-22*

I could even repeat fun minor and major sixths when I get it wrong!😀😀😀
