I decided to try an app that played different sounds and music to try to help me fall asleep. This app is PERFECT! It is very user friendly, and has a lot of choices. You can combine any of the sounds and music AND you can set each of them at the volume you want. For instance I like the blizzard and the fireplace together but I tweak it so the fireplace is a really subtle sound. I downloaded the free app, switched to hardback books, and turned on the music app. I love all of the free selections... my breathing, heart rate, and blood pressure seems to slow within 3 minutes. White and pink noise should certainly be at the top. As for the other sounds, they are nice but have little repetitive sounds underneath. Like the plan is a great hum, but has a tiny metal tink sound every few seconds. I’m very frustrated that I paid the $6 for this app only to pick up on that and no longer be able to use it for sleep. That is when a song gets stuck in your head and for me, the minute I lay my head down, the songs come back. This app helps me relax and not have any other thoughts.
