## What is Relic Hunt?

Currently in fifteen cities: Barcelona, London, Paris, Rome, Istanbul, Madrid, Athens, Lecce, Izmir, Antalya, Ankara, Çanakkale, Tokyo, Kyoto and Nara. Outside these cities the map is still empty.

Relic Hunt turns the city around you into a museum you can walk through.

Seventy-eight thousand historic places are on the map — Roman baths, Byzantine chapels, Ottoman fountains, Haussmann's boulevards, wartime memorials. Walk up to one, and the app verifies you are really there. Then a case opens, and you take home a relic from that period: a Templar seal in old Paris, a lamplighter's pole under the gaslights, a Sten dropped by parachute to the Resistance.

WHAT YOU DO
• Visit a real historic place — your location is checked on your phone, never uploaded
• Open a case and collect a relic drawn from that place's period
• Fill your museum: 35 collections, from Etruscan bronze to the Blitz
• Trade duplicates with friends
• Claim First Explorer on a place nobody has visited yet
• Read what happened there, and leave a review for the next visitor

WHY IT IS DIFFERENT
Every place is real and sourced from open archives — Wikidata, Wikipedia, OpenStreetMap. Every relic is made for this app and for the period it belongs to; none of them are stock art. The map is not a list of tourist stops: it is the whole registered heritage of a city, down to the fountain on the corner you have walked past for years.

PRIVACY
Your location never reaches our servers. Whether you are close enough is calculated on your phone; only which place you visited is sent. No ads in the app, no advertising identifier, no data sold.

FREE TO PLAY, WITH OPTIONAL PURCHASES
Every place, every visit and every collection is free. Cases are opened with discovery dust, which you earn by exploring. If you would rather not wait for it, dust can also be bought, and Explorer Premium — an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription — doubles the dust you earn and adds free weekly openings. No place and no collection is locked behind a purchase.

• NOW ON VIEW: a restored icon. At the size the App Store actually shows it, the old column read less like architecture and more like weather. Redrawn, refluted, remounted.

• THE NEW ENTRANCE HALL. The icon no longer just hangs there. Monuments pass through the pin's window — tower, mosque, pyramid, aqueduct, church — and the column is back on its plinth by the time you walk in.

• WALL LABELS IN THREE MORE LANGUAGES. Español, Français, Italiano. The permission questions your phone asks are no longer sentenced to English. A museum writes the labels for its own vitrines.

• CONSERVATION REPORT. The doors occasionally opened before the lights came on and left visitors standing in an empty gallery. The guard has been spoken to.

• Reminders. Four kinds: an unopened case, a collection you are close to finishing, your weekly free opening, and a nudge when you have been away. Each can be switched off in Settings.

• Translate. Many places are described in the local language. Tap Translate to read the story in yours.

• Español, Français, Italiano. The app now speaks three more languages.

• Reviews belong to visitors. You can review a place once you have actually been there.

• Fixes: a clearer sign-in path on the account screen, thousands separators in large numbers, and error messages that say what actually happened.
