## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Continually crashing

*2015-09-16*

Fantastic idea

### 3/5 — Thoughts from a mental health counselor

*2021-11-21, version 2.0*

This app has amazing potential; however, I work mostly with teenagers and I’ve learned that teenagers do not like talking on the phone. I noticed when I first opened the app that it’s pretty difficult to navigate and the live chat option does not work for emergencies and that is essential for some.

### 3/5 — Fair-could be really great

*2014-04-01, version 1.2*

There are a few aspects of the app I am struggling to get working. But what does work is great. Like how so many features are in one app.

### 4/5 — Great pocket app

*2015-11-28, version 1.2.1*

Good app for having a safety plan in place. I think the design could be a bit better but overall purposeful and had a lot of opportunity to grow.

### 4/5 — Really what I needed

*2015-06-20, version 1.2.1*

Well to start off, I'm really surprised that I'm the only person that will have reviewed this app. However, I'm really looking forward to an update because there are so many ways it can be improved!!

1. The Twitter doesn't seem to be updated quite often. Also the interface can be a bit glitchy (keyboard not going away, etc.)

2. I love the help near you option! I also wish there could be a more advanced logging tool for moods as opposed to just my high and low moods and suicidal thoughts.

3. The option to choose a profile picture from my camera roll would also be nice.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how this app develops because it's helped me a lot so far.

### 4/5 — Good start

*2014-03-01, version 1.2*

Happy to see an app like this. If some of my local Help near you information isn't correct how can it be updated?

### 4/5 — Good app

*2013-11-11, version 1.1*

Has potential and is quiet functional but some of the features are not working at this point. Therapist locator, support group finder , treatment services locator and live chat are not working. Overall a very good app.

### 5/5 — Help seeking for the 21st century-SEJ

*2013-11-25, version 1.2*

awesome!

### 5/5 — Outstanding

*2013-10-18, version 1.1*

This is an outstanding and much needed resource to help people who have suicidal thoughts, depression, and feel desperate. Much appreciation to the creators of this app.

### 5/5 — ❤️

*2013-10-17, version 1.1*

Great way to put phone apps to use! Help saves life's in as many ways as possible!
