What amazed me was the social media factor and how there’s a whole crypto market in the game, it is all so detail-oriented and definitely gives the illusion of having a lot of choices and control over the lives in this game. I also love the moody, realistic, minimalist vibe this game has, it’s a breath of fresh air from Bitlife that is also excellent but has a loud and somewhat unrealistic style to it. The downside of this is that there’s not a lot of soul in the relationships you make in this game, they’re just buttons and they don’t have an appearance or a lot of personality. The happiness doesn’t even decrease when they die which is kind of unsettling. It’s like they’re not even there at all. I would also say this game would be a lot better with minigames, a test of skill every once in a while. I wanted to be reminded that it’s a game and not actual life which is depressing. All it says is “A screen error was caught before the app could fully crash. Your saved data was not deleted. You can safely try loading the UI again.” And let me tell you I have, oh I have. Going on 2 days of not being able to be a president and I paid for it.
