## What is Reliquum?

Write a letter to your future self or someone you care about. Add a photo, audio or video, then seal it until a date or a place you choose. Reliquum keeps those memories private until their moment arrives.

Handwrite a personal letter on a supported device, choose your paper and ink, and read it on iPhone or iPad. Save a draft and return when the words come.

Your first three relics are free. A single lifetime purchase unlocks unlimited relics, with no subscription. No account or analytics. Optional iCloud backup stores encrypted copies, including drafts, and is off by default.

For personal use only. Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement applies:

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5.1 — 2026-10-10

Reliquum 1.5.1 brings a small correction to the moment a relic opens.

• The time since sealing now shows the correct number of calendar days.
• Older relics use clear month and year wording, with only whole or half units.

### 1.5.0 — 2026-10-10

Reliquum now speaks 18 languages, with localized controls, messages and accessibility text. This update also improves plural counts and text display across writing systems.

### 1.1.4 — 2026-08-28

Reliquum 1.1.4 makes the path to unlimited relics clearer. The upgrade screen now explains the three free relics, lifetime unlock, encrypted iCloud backup, and Family Sharing. This update also includes small refinements for a quieter, more reliable experience.

### 1.1.3 — 2026-08-09

Reliquum has a new icon, composed in layers to feel more at home across the latest versions of iOS while preserving its quiet, archival identity.

### 1.1.2 — 2026-08-08

Discover two other private apps from Reliquum's Settings.

• Ekkoes builds a private audio map of the moments that matter.
• Rekko lets small circles of friends share TV and movie recommendations, with no public feed, algorithm, or ads.
