A friend told me this app was really helpful for her relationship, but it’s frustrating that I can’t even move past something without waiting 10 minutes. The questions that are available however are great ### 3/5 — Glitchy *2025-01-03, version 7.4.9* This app gave me hope, I was interested in possibly purchasing a sub but the tab won’t pull, I’ve tried closing it, cleaning out my phone, redownloading, and eventually it became frustrating so I’ll pass on this one for now but maybe I’ll return if able to pay for it. ### 2/5 — Some areas of app don’t work *2024-11-09, version 7.4.9* I love the idea of this app. However, I can’t get any of the games or anything to load. I have emailed customer service about this but have not heard back from them. I would love to be able to experience the entire app, but unfortunately that is not possible at the moment. At that point, I'd much rather just do therapy. ### 2/5 — Don’t waste your money *2023-02-17, version 7.4.7* I’m so disappointed in this app. I was impressed with the free trial in the beginning and enjoyed the first 10-12 weeks of my paid subscription. It has great potential if both partners are really dedicated to change. The problem is that after the first couple months all the daily lessons just keep repeating over and over. It takes weeks to get an email response if you ever get one, and the app touts that you get a coach. That doesn’t exist. ### 3/5 — Interface isn’t great… *2022-05-26* I don’t get this app design. Half the time I don’t see the context of what my husband is sending me when he is following prompts in the app. Today was even worse. He wrote out 5 “visions of the future” as prompted by the app… I saw just one and couldn’t scroll and couldn’t see the rest. The only way I knew was he asked me what my 5 were as we were going to bed. Sure enough, in his side of the app, he can see all 5 and on my side… still only see one of the 5 questions and answers. This app just needs some TLC and it could be good. Makes me wonder how much we’ve missed over the past few months because of the poor app design. ### 3/5 — Still buggy *2022-05-08* Free apps… I don’t care about bugs and don’t worry about rating them lower… it’s free. However, a paid app at this amount of annual fee shouldn’t be so buggy. When you are typing at the end of a lesson and get interrupted (life, work, etc) and have to come back, it starts the section over and you lose all your work. I spent a good amount of time and thought writing a reply to my wife on more than one occasion now, just to have it lost because the app is not made well. I’ve decided to not renew at the end of my year. If the app starts auto saving before then, I may continue to support the developers and renew. As the owner of a SaaS and 11 years in the industry, I know It’s not that hard to cache/save so I’m frustrated it’s still doing this after reporting it several months ago. ### 4/5 — Great except for one thing *2022-04-23, version 7.4.7* When you click on a date or something else and exit out of it the item automatically goes from “to do” to “done”. Sometimes I just want to look at it quick but don’t have time to do the date item right this instant. It would be nice if it didn’t go to done until you clicked the done button as well as the option to potentially undo an item and move it back to “to do” Just my thought but maybe it’s intentional. Other than that the content is pretty great. If it was adjusted I’d go 5 stars Thanks! ### 2/5 — Started out amazing *2022-03-18, version 7.4.7* When I first tried the trial of this app I couldn’t get enough of it. I’m not usually one to pay more than 20 bucks for a subscription; but I liked it so much and was seeing AMAZING results I decided it was worth it; And it was for about the first month. I recommended it to everyone I knew who was having problems in their relationship, and even ones that weren’t- but now, not even two months in to my 6 month subscription; I’m highly dissatisfied. I have not been recommending it to anyone. I don’t get any personalized lessons, games or anything beside a relationship check in, a daily spark(the odd time), and a mindful moment which becomes very tedious after a while. It’s as if they’ve ran out of content… which if I’m paying for 6 months I expect to have enough content that I can use the app for the whole 6 months. If they had even more content, I would even consider subscribing for another 6 months- that’s how much I loved it. Another thing is; where is my “1 on 1 coaching with qualified relationship coach” I’ve looked everywhere on my app for it, I checked to make sure my subscription went through, I googled it- no luck finding how to access it. That was one of the things that sold me on this app; If you’re going to advertise something- actually have it and have it easy to navigate to, and simple to find, access and use. Please fix this and add new content. I love this app and want to continue to use it and get excited again to see what new thing I’m going to learn about my partner today. What fun comparison, or game i’m going to play and what interesting articles and most importantly to me- self reflection and healing I would get from all the content. I would love to be able to access the coaches as well. Thanks in advance ### 4/5 — PLEASE change the pricing options!!!! *2022-02-16, version 7.4.5* I think this app is great. Already seeing results. HOWEVER. I’m in the free trial and when it ends I will NOT be able to afford $100 for a year. I could afford $10 a month! But certainly not $100 in one chunk. Not that helpful. *2022-01-28* I actually subscribed so we will give it a shot for six months but I’m not sure if it will actually help us address some of the deeper seated issues in our relationship. The quizzes are totally pointless. They have very limited answers and don’t include any concrete follow up steps. The date night ideas are cute but I wish there was a way to bookmark or schedule them or something. There’s no point in reading a date night idea on a Tuesday when the prep involved would make it impossible to do until a weekend. The lessons are helpful but they don’t seem to happen everyday, only sporadically. The Daily Sparks are silly conversation starters like Table Topics- again, not that helpful at actually improving our relationship. The little notes that I get from my partner, written in his own words, are the best thing and the Mindful Moments are good for that. The rest of the features are a whole lot of “fluff” that doesn’t really help you address relationship issues. ### 3/5 — limited answers hamstring the app *2022-01-21, version 7.4.3* This app is a really good idea it’s really well executed and it actually works in a timely way which is impressive. The big drawback is it asks a number of questions but the answers you can pick from are incredibly limited.I’m find me at least half the time there’s not even an acceptable option for one of the answers.For example one asks what type of game you like to play and it gives you chess, board games, cards, sports.What about video games?Or other types of games? Also there’s a lot of product placement in the questions. It makes them feel like market research and less like trying to get in sync with your partner. I think this app is easy five stars if it had some good options or at least more varied options that would cover a wider gamut for respondents Lastly please dial back on the personal coach upselling. Lots of features simply don’t work and messages to support aren’t replied to. All you can access currently is a daily “spark” question, a relationship assessment, and a daily “relationship check-in” — none of the personalized content or lessons are available. This app should be removed from the App Store. ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2024-08-06, version 7.4.9* I liked the app a lot and decided to try the 7 day free trial last night to see what it fully had to offer. Unfortunately for me I woke up this morning and was charged for the 6 months. Now an app that I may have potentially purchased will be deleted off my phone and not used anymore due to a charge before I even had the trial for 24 hours ### 1/5 — ⚠️ Good App, But Serious Concerns About Security and Support *2024-06-20, version 7.4.9* I used and liked this app, but there are some red flags: 1. The app is not being actively developed (last update was a year ago). 2. The support team can’t answer basic questions about data security, data export, or data deletion. Specifically, I asked Lucy, but she was unable to get answers from the company after a month of communication. I deleted the app and canceled my subscription before potential issues with the company or security could lead to problems for users. ### 1/5 — we stopped using it. the free questions are juvenile and boid of meaning *2023-08-18, version 7.4.9* “who would play your partner in a movie” and dumb questions like that. youre app is intentionally misleading. when we first started using it it was helpful questions like “whats your partners best quality” or something along those lines. false advertising and we haven’t been given a meaningful promt in weeks ### 1/5 — Pointless app and no customer service at all *2022-05-20, version 7.4.7* The app feels like homework and isn’t very much helpful. I regret subscribing because now 4 months in and I still am trying to cancel the subscription but I don’t know if they’re purposely not responding to extend my subscription or their company isn’t active anymore. I tried calling their 1-800 number but it seems like it’s non existent. Bottom line- THIS APP IS PROBABLY A SCAM. ### 1/5 — BEWARE - IMPOSSIBLE TO CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION *2022-05-19* I wanted to like this app. I paid the $100 subscription fee to try it out. Liked it but decided not to renew. Here’s where I ran into my issue. You cannot cancel the subscription through the app - the ONLY way to cancel this subscription is via email. Seems straightforward right? Well, Relish loves to completely ignore all attempts to contact them. I’ve sent 4 emails and an Instagram message and NOTHING. Its been a month at this point and all I’m getting is radio silence. It’s pretty frustrating when it’s a $100 renewal we are trying to avoid. It’s just bad service all around and they clearly don’t care. Not worth it at all. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work. *2022-03-26, version 7.4.7* Downloaded app and keeps saying I need to sign in through my email but is not doing anything when I finally get the email. Sends me to the website to download app I already have downloaded. Finally an app that delivers ideas, tips and coaching that actually makes sense and is easy to work into your day. It has improved communication in our relationship and brought back the inside jokes and giggles that seemed to be missing after years of marriage and two kids. I love the quizzes and the uplifting words of encouragement and suggestions it gives. It’s helped strengthen my relationship in so many ways. The process of spending a couple minutes each day to actively improve our relationship has been invaluable. ### 5/5 — Remembering why we like each other *2021-07-23* We downloaded the app on a weekend away together (one night 😅) and it’s been such a relationship saver! Covid, new baby, family dynamics shifting with two kids… we became teammates and damage control for our kids schedules but we weren’t paying attention to each other at all. We weren't feeling appreciated and we didn’t even know what to talk about the couple of minutes we had to ourselves when the kids were asleep. But with Relish, we get little prompts that help us refocus our attention on each other even if it’s just a couple of minutes in the day. It’s a game changer for sure. I also love that when we each finish a prompt it sends it to the other person like a little nudge/reminder “Hey I love you, let’s work on our marriage.” **Developer response:** Thank you for your lovely review! The lessons are really tailored toward the crisis you are in. Each week, my spouse and I are both amazed at the timing of the lesson that seems to fit the stage of reconciliation we are in.
