The contact me button doesn’t work. ### 1/5 — Glitchy *2025-10-03* App won't advance past the third screen- I see it asks a question but I can't scroll down to answer the question. You can email me via marc@remembernames.app ### 1/5 — Don’t buy this app *2025-07-10, version 5.2* It’s claims to be location-based but is not so is more or less useless ### 1/5 — There is no 7-day trial. It’s a scam. *2025-07-03* I downloaded the app last night. Today I started to try it out. At some point you can’t use it and was given 3 options all of which included a 7-day free trial. I chose the 7-day trial with the one-time lifetime use fee and I was immediately charged. Apple says they only handle billing and claimed that the app developer stated this was an in-app purchase and did not include a trial period which is the exact opposite of what the app said. **Developer response:** Hi Joanna, I responded to your email on Jul 04 where I apologized for the negative experience, explained the error and advised how to get a refund. I saw that within 24hrs you received the full refund. Sincere apologies once again for the error (it’s now been corrected) and thanks for reaching out to let me know. I would have preferred if you gave me the opportunity to respond to your email before immediately assuming I’m trying to scam people, but I do understand that in situations like this fear, misunderstandings and negative assumptions may take over and who knows maybe even I may have done the same thing if I were in the same situation. I know I can't change the past and take away the negative experience you’ve had, but hopefully you’ll be willing to try Remember Names again and update your review accordingly. You can then try all the features for free and only pay when you are ready. ### 1/5 — It keeps turning itself off while I’m trying to add photos and names. *2025-04-19, version 3.9* Marc, how do I make the app stop turning off? I just want to use the app. I paid for the lifetime subscription but I’m wasting hours because it keeps turning itself off and returning to your logo screen and losing the data I was in the process of adding. The developer is great! *2025-07-31* I've used/ tested out all of the “name remembering”apps on iOS, and this one not only works the best, it's very fairly priced, and the developer, Marc, is super nice and responsive. It works great, and I can even add or search for names on my Apple Watch. As soon as I meet somebody new, I plug their name into the app and usually add some kind of note - something to remember them by/characteristic. Then, the next time I'm around them, I can quickly search for any one of those things/notes/characteristics that I can remember, making it really easy to find their name. ### 5/5 — Great app! *2025-07-11* Finally found an app to help me remember names! Remember Names isn't meant to replace the built in contacts app, but act as a supplement for contacts/people you don't have any actual contact information for or if you want to use the "name reminder by location" feature - but of course you can use it however it suits you best.
