Not a cash grab but a labor of love, it seems to me, which makes the game more engaging. Having just finished the game, i was quite surprised by the long length. I refuse to use a hint unless I absolutely have to, and I love this game because of the hint system. The developer gives nudge after nudge until you think you’ve got it or until you just need the answer revealed. There’s also a skip feature that I admit I had to use on a particular puzzle. The story, so far is really good and keeping me playing. It’s scary enough that I actually cover my screen when I’m ready for something to happen which is perfect! I’m always looking for a new, good point and click adventure and so glad I found this one. It waaay exceeded my expectations. That’s one amazing immersive atmosphere. Hints are wonderful and very helpful. The story kept me interested, the puzzles were tough but solvable, and it was much longer than expected. A little dark, a little scary, and a little funny at times. My only criticism is the lack of camera and the navigation took a while to get used to. That said, I really enjoyed playing and highly recommend to others who dig point and click adventure. Es wird haarklein erklärt, welche privaten Daten gespeichert und an welches Werbenetzwerk weitergeleitet werden. Das ist bei einer gekauften App nicht nur hinterlistig sondern äußerst unseriös. Schützt eure Daten!!! ### 1/5 — I won’t consent to ads *2021-06-29* I purchased this game and before it will let me play it says I must consent to their privacy rules which allows tracking and in-game ads. The reason I only play games that I pay for is to avoid in-app purchases and ads. I pay for games to support developers directly not to see adds. The dialog is generic and is displayed in the free version (with ads) and this version (no ads). Hope you can still give it a go! :) ### 1/5 — Bug in the Dining Room *2020-01-24, version 81.1* Stuck every time trying to open the locked cupboard in the Dining Room. I have placed all the place setting items but no unlock??? ### 2/5 — Nope *2024-05-30* So you got my $2.99. I was not going to waste hours trying to complete the 3rd block puzzle with the slender blocks at the bottom standing vertical. Didn’t even finish that puzzle. I stopped playing and deleted the game. And with the second block puzzle how would you ever guess the 2 triangle shaped ones were supposed to be in that position when you get the impression that all the space has to be filled with the blocks and no gaps. ### 2/5 — Life is too short to waste on frustrating physics *2021-07-23* Engaging story line, but I quit after spending way too long on the block building challenge. The mechanics of lifting and placing the blocks is incredibly frustrating and unforgiving. **Developer response:** The blocks puzzle is very divisive - some hate it, others love it. It's also one of the most challenging puzzles in the game. Because of this, you will be presented with the option to skip the third puzzle after 3 minutes of play. Hope you'll have a chance to finish the game!! :) ### 3/5 — Blocks puzzle *2025-11-24* I was really enjoying this game until I got to the block puzzle, where you have to stack the precarious pieces to fill the outline. It was frustrating and not very enjoyable, but not every puzzle has to thrill me. But when I got it completed and found I had to complete another stacking puzzle, I realized I was more interested in leaving a review than I was finding out how many of these I had to do. I would’ve skipped it if I could, but I don’t think I could. It’s too bad, I was kind of enjoying the game. ### 3/5 — It was ok *2020-09-10* I love puzzle games, so I was excited to dive in when I found this title. Ran well on my iPad, but the sound did cut out and required an app restart to fix it several times. Thank you frequent auto saves. That said a lot of the middle to end puzzles require leaps of logic faith instead of based on pure clues, and the story ending was a big bummer. I have 47 escape room titles on my tablet right now and have removed another 20. I’m always thinking I’ve played them all and the rest will be garbage then….This is easily in the top 10. At first I would have enjoyed more logic puzzles but those came. Great story, immersive, great graphics, no clicking all over the screen mindlessly to find something no human eye could see. All puzzles are solvable…eventually. Hints are spaced really well. You can one to get you going or all of them if you don’t have the tenacity. This game is one of the best point and click games I’ve played. The story line keeps track with the puzzles and completely keeps you guessing. The puzzles are not easy, the hints guide you without completely giving answers immediately.
