Private by Design — No Compromises
RenewalKit uses Apple Vision on your device to suggest document details. Scan images and raw OCR are processed temporarily and are not retained as part of a RenewalKit record.
The reminder and Profile fields you confirm are stored in the app’s local database. Optional iCloud sync can synchronize supported records through Apple CloudKit.
Core recognition, records, and already scheduled local notifications can work offline. StoreKit purchases and restores, optional iCloud sync, updates and configuration, and analytics or diagnostics can require a network.
Anonymous Analytics is currently on by default and can be turned off in Settings. Telemetry is designed to exclude document images, raw OCR, document numbers, names, and dates.
No RenewalKit account is required for the core record, scanning, and local reminder workflow.
