## What is RemindMe!?

This app was built for one person: someone in my family who is living with dementia. She wanted to know what was happening each day, and ordinary calendars weren't working for her anymore. So I made this app to show her day in large type, with only the essential details: the title and the time.

As her condition declined, I adjusted the settings to show less. She started out seeing several weeks of events at once. Over time that became too much, and now her screen shows just two columns, today and tomorrow. Anything beyond tomorrow confused her, so we stopped showing it.

I'm telling you this because your family may be on a similar path — whether the reason is dementia, memory loss, or low vision. RemindMe! is built so you can simplify it step by step as needs change.

WHAT IT SHOWS
The events and reminders you already keep in Apple Calendar and Apple Reminders, in large, easy-to-read type. Reminders are optional — show them beside the day's events, or leave them off and keep the screen to events only. Any calendar from Apple Calendar works — iCloud, Google, Exchange, or on-device — and you choose which ones to show. Shared accounts mean family and caregivers can add or change things from their own phones, wherever they are. The screen updates by itself.

NOTHING CHANGES BY ACCIDENT
The person using it can't change or delete anything. The one thing they can do is tap to check off a reminder when it's done — and if that's a slip, there are five seconds to undo it. If you're setting it up for someone else, you can hide the settings button so there's nothing to wander into. That hides the upgrade button too, on purpose: if someone needs settings out of sight, a subscription screen popping up would only confuse them — and that's never what this app should do.

MADE TO BE SIMPLIFIED
Start with whatever fits today: a big clock or a month calendar next to the day's events, or two or three columns for the days ahead. When the days ahead become too much, show fewer of them: just today and tomorrow, or only today next to the clock or calendar. The type is large from the start, and if it needs to be larger still, it follows the text size you set in Apple's Settings app under Accessibility. Smaller touches are adjustable too: an optional title across the top, 12 or 24-hour time, and a custom message once the day's events are done.

ALWAYS SHOWING NOW AND NEXT
Leave it on the counter or mount it on the wall. When someone scrolls ahead or opens something and then walks away, the app quietly resets. After 90 seconds without a touch, whatever was opened closes and each column scrolls back to the top. And because events that have ended drop off the top of today's list on their own, the first thing on screen is always what's happening now — or what's coming next.

ONE PLAN, MONTHLY, ON PURPOSE
The free version shows today's events and a clock. Premium adds reminders, the days ahead — up to a full year of them — and the other layouts on iPad. There's no yearly plan because I know firsthand how fast things can change. Try everything free for a week, keep it while it helps, and cancel anytime in your Apple account settings. It renews monthly until you cancel.

One more thing: every family's situation is different, and I know RemindMe! won't fit every one. Some of what's in the app today came from other families' suggestions, so if you try it, I'd love to hear what's working and what could be improved or added — there's a Contact Us button in Settings that reaches me directly.

I hope it helps your family the way it helps ours.
