I put in pictures of my living room and it gave me pictures off the web that are not anywhere close to the picture I submitted. I could just use Pinterest for free since it doesn’t take windows, doors, actual structure of the room into consideration. ### 3/5 — Poor custom features *2026-06-28, version 1.5.5* The program seems very basic. It generates super simple images that don’t really fit the space. The custom feature seems awful. I’ve tried several ways of describing something and it keeps getting it wrong and does the same design each time. When I say arrange my furniture to make the fireplace the focal point it adds another fireplace to my space. Don’t waste your money on this one. ### 2/5 — Scam *2026-04-27, version 1.5.1* this app worked I downloaded the trial and then agreed to a week for 9.99 they charged me $53.99 it won't give me my money back I did not agree to that that is fraud ### 1/5 — No trial *2026-04-22* There is NO trial for this app. I downloaded the app and after using it for a day, decided it was not what I needed and cancelled. Six days later, a charge came through for the app. I contacted Apple support and was told I was not eligible for a refund. I asked for another review and asked how I could be charged and my subscription status on my phone says “cancelled”. I just got another reply that I wasn’t eligible for a refund—No explanation. So don’t sign up unless you understand you will be charged got that first week even if you only use the app once on the first day and cancel. **Developer response:** Remodel AI does offer a free 3-day trial for our annual subscription, and a free plan with limited generations for you to explore the app before committing. If you cancel within the trial period, you won't be charged. I described five pieces of furniture and their exact locations. It generated them in the wrong places. I added more details, it generated wrong three more times, and it counted these errors against my credits. There was no way to say, this is wrong and tell it how to fix it. HUGE WASTE OF TIME ### 1/5 — Not Free *2026-08-04, version 1.5.7* This app like so many others advertises as free. Once you download it you find out that it in fact is not. Very frustrating as it is a waste of time. This app may seem good to a random user but in my field where home designing is vital, the colors don’t add up you ask for a bond color and get a hard cream. They say there is a free version but it was never an option when I was in the app, it just kept going to “join”. Very frustrating. After speaking with Apple, I was told that subscription timing can vary, but it was still very frustrating because I believed I had canceled in time. I would encourage anyone considering this app to read the subscription terms very carefully and understand exactly when you’ll be charged.
