What is the point of even using this app if you’re trying to click a button and an ad pops up and it sends you to one of those bs scam apps. Absolutely abhorrent that you can’t even find a simple remote app that isn’t riddled with ads.

**Developer response:** You're right, and I'm sorry. An ad popping up while you're reaching for a button is exactly the wrong moment. The honest answer is that the free version is paid for by ads, but since version 1.1 there's a one-time Remove Ads purchase in Settings, no subscription, and it switches every ad off for good. If an ad ever sends you to something that looks like a scam, please send me the details through Settings > Feedback so I can report and block that advertiser. Thanks for telling me straight.

Is there an option to go add free? Every time I’m using an important function, it gets stuck on advertisements, and I miss my shows.

Comes in very handy when the actual remote is misplaced. 
Only issue is that the Keyboard mode does not work even though the keyboard on screen is activated and awaiting input.
Maybe it's because I'm using a mesh router, but don't know 🤷‍♂️

**Developer response:** Thanks for the kind words and the detailed report. The mesh router is probably innocent here. The TV only accepts typed text once a text field on the TV is actually selected, so the trick is: on the TV, move the cursor into the search box or password field first, then type from the app. Newer versions of the app now tell you when no field is selected. If it still ignores you after that, drop me a line from Settings > Feedback with the TV model and the app you were typing into.

I'm so glad I found this remote app. There's so many functions it allows me to do. Personally I find it easier to work than the actual remote that came with my TV. I'm using it with a 2024 Sony Bravia
