### 3/5 — It’s just ok

*2020-10-29, version 2.0.2*

I found the remote very convenient, but I noticed that there are seasons missing when I’m searching for my shows through the remote app. Please update your system to match the Netflix platform.

### 5/5 — Good way to control Netflix from bed

*2018-10-15, version 1.85*

I’m using the free version without IAP. It basically let me control watching Iron Fist without having to fumble around with Remote Mouse while watching in bed.

### 5/5 — Great app/easy to use

*2018-10-14, version 1.85*

Very simple app but does what it’s supposed to. Convenient to use during the “long binges” or when I have my Mac connected to my tv with hdmi. Instructions are straight forward and it took less than 5 minutes to set up.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Help

*2022-01-22, version 2.1.0*

I signed up but don’t know how to get it to work

### 1/5 — Play button doesn’t work

*2021-08-15, version 2.1.0*

The app claims that the play and pause buttons work on the free version. THEY DO NOT! This is false advertising. Also I wasn’t comfortable having to my login info to netflix into the app. Can’t rate the performance because i can’t even use the play button without getting the incessant and insufferable pop up to upgrade.

### 1/5 — F...

*2021-03-12, version 2.0.2*

This app charge before anything it’s s....

### 1/5 — Don’t buy if you don’t wanna pay

*2020-07-05, version 1.4*

This app is super easy to use and perfect for binging except you can’t go to the next episode without paying.

### 1/5 — Paying

*2020-03-20, version 1.4*

I really liked the app and how it was set up but you have to pay in order to actually be able to use the remote

### 1/5 — Review

*2020-03-01, version 1.4*

Absolute garbage, it seems to connect and all but then tells me i have to subscribe to it to get all then features, however it says it’s free to pause and play and use the volume witch I can’t access. Instead I just get a pop up asking to subscribe so it’s a total scam

### 1/5 — Does it work

*2019-12-07, version 1.4*

It does not always work and it gets really frustrating. MUST HAVE A NETFLIX ACCOUNT

### 1/5 — No idea how to start. Awful app

*2019-06-02, version 1.95*

As a deliver, this is upsetting. There is no information on how to connect to Netflix with this app. The app directs you to the website for a code needed to start the application, or something? When visiting the website, you’re directed to a YouTube video on how to connect the app. What year is it? This is ridiculously awful and I hope it gets removed from the App Store as it is obviously a scam or poor software.

### 1/5 — Lies

*2018-10-12, version 1.8*

App states you can use on iPhone but you need a Mac or PC to control?!? I agree, don’t waste your time on this!!!

**Developer response:** Hi. This app is a remote control for Netflix, so yes - you do need a PC, Mac or Chromebook to control.

Remote for Netflix! gives you a powerful remote control for Netflix
- If you watch on your computer
- If you use Chrome
Then Remote for Netflix! is for you.

### 1/5 — Falsely named

*2018-10-11, version 1.8*

This app is supposed to be a “remote for netflix,” but it doesn’t actually work for Netflix unless you subscribe. A total waste of time and a rip off. Don’t bother downloading.

**Developer response:** Hi - thanks for trying Remote for Netflix.
You can always use the basic controls for free. These include volume, play/pause, fullscreen, skip forward/back. I aim to make the free version useful even if it is limited.

However - as you say, I do ask you to purchase a subscription if you want to use the position slider, or open new shows from the remote. I'd love to give this away for free - but I need make a living.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Fantastic app, exceeds my expectations for $10/YR!

*2021-07-07, version 2.0.2*

Well worth the $10 per year price! Works as advertised, excellent product, exceeds my expectations in every way! Please don’t post negative reviews if you can’t take a few minutes (that is all it takes) to figure out how to use this app! Most of you skipped over the fact that this app depends on google chrome being installed on the host computer and your Netflix account being logged in on a chrome window!

### 5/5 — Doesn’t work

*2020-12-27, version 2.0.2*

It connects with my pc but when the app asks me to log into my Netflix it says they are having technical issues and they are working on fixing it. It’s not Netflix because I logged in on my pc and phone just fine.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2020-11-12, version 2.0.2*

This app is amazing thank you for the creation of it. I wouldn’t want to change anything about this app. It improves my Netflix experience

### 5/5 — Remote

*2020-08-22, version 1.4*

The best app ever for netflix

### 5/5 — Does this work for other websites too?

*2020-07-14, version 1.4*

Hello, everything works and this app is perfect so I just wanted to know if this support other websites. Thanks.

### 5/5 — Super helpful, could use some updates tho

*2020-06-24, version 1.4*

I give *️⃣*️⃣*️⃣*️⃣*️⃣ because i understand how much time was probably put into this. Only thing i would really like to see is a qr code for the extension because i use a vpn and i have to set the code every time, not a big deal but i would like to see that happen.

### 5/5 — Lady Back

*2019-07-21, version 1.4*

Always wanted to try it disabled and don't always want to get up works well on my PC thanks

**Developer response:** Glad it is helping you - thanks for leaving a review :)

### 5/5 — Learn to read

*2019-04-23, version 1.95*

Yeah, people clearly can't read app descriptions because not only does it say you need a pc or Mac to control, but you also need to pay for a subscription. It works just fine if you know what to expect and how to use it. Jeez.

### 5/5 — It does what it says it does

*2018-10-18, version 1.85*

Apparently people don’t read the description. This app does exactly what it says it does. Every once in a while I connect my laptop to the tv via hdmi and that’s where this app becomes handy.

### 5/5 — Read the description...

*2018-10-16, version 1.85*

Can't understand why people clearly haven't read the description of the app and then leave a bad review. This app does exactly what it claims; It controls Netflix and makes using my Media Pc much more simple.
