Then how are they expected to turn it on so that this app can connect to it?.. I’m using a Roku, one of several that don’t have manual on and off buttons. A remote is needed. And since this app only works for tvs with manual buttons on it, I’ll just have to go buy a new Roku remote. Might want to add to y’all’s description that this app only works if ur tv is already on. You only download it because the original remote that ships with the TV breaks. To add insult to injury you download this app, you get charged a subscription and then it doesn’t work. Well I’m order to use this your Roku must first be connected. So let’s say you brought your Roku on vacation and forgot your remote. Without a remote you cant put your Roku on the internet because you need the remote to click through the settings. And you can’t use this remote unless your Roku is connected to said internet!!
