The remote only allows you to control volume and select which speakers/devices you want to send audio to from your Windows PC. It'd be nice if you could control more from the remote. But this is a great start at being able to integrate non-Apple products into your AirPlay system. ### 4/5 — Just what I was looking for *2015-07-24* Really pleased with this companion app and its Windows counterpart: it allows me to stream music from my PC to Kodi running on a Raspberry Pi for free. The whole setup was very easy, and it seems to work well. I'm primarily using it as a crude way of having a Spotify Connect system on the Pi i.e. the iPhone controls Spotify running on the PC via Spotify Connect, which is then AirPlaying to the Pi. Where this iPhone app comes in is it allows me to flick AirPlay on and off, as I require, without me having to access the console of the PC each time. There are other ways the PC app can be used (not just Spotify), but this setup was exactly what I was looking for.
