It is not at all user friendly & I’d rather wait forever than have to deal with submitting a report. It will definitely shorten my length of time working. ### 1/5 — Awful *2026-07-17* This is one of the worst experiences with expenses that I have ever had. Taking a photo or a group of photos does not work at all & when you have to type anything in, the default words stay in the field so you can’t even tell if what you typed is correct. I have used a lot of different expense management tools and so far this is the worst. Add to that the fact that the only help option you have is an AI bot & it gets worse. ### 1/5 — Cannot use the app due to the wrong password *2025-09-23, version 12.4.0* It says my password is wrong no matter how many times I change my password…. This app is stupid. ### 1/5 — New update breaks usage *2025-07-16* It was mostly usable before this last update, now expenses don’t work, payslips are not shown and I cannot upload files. ### 1/5 — Do not recommend Remote at all *2025-04-01, version 10.0.0* Remote is the worst payroll service I have ever used. Multiple errors resulting in 3 months of struggling to correct Remote’s payroll errors led to costs being incurred that should not have happened. T4 errors in multiple years. Contribution errors for 3 payroll events in a row. No ability to contact anybody live. Absolutely unacceptable unprofessional service and no redeeming qualities. ### 1/5 — Still can’t login as freelancer *2025-01-28, version 9.6.1* I still can’t login as freelancer. In the middle of uploading multiple receipts is disrupting my flow. So here’s your 1 star. ### 2/5 — Does not look great on mobile devices *2026-04-21* Hard to use on cell phones. ### 3/5 — Please fix uploading expenses *2023-03-09, version 2.5* Was working great but most recent update broke the functionality to upload expenses from gallery. There's no button to submit the selected image anymore. ### 4/5 — Good app but the latest update made it not work for me anymore. *2026-02-25* Liked it for the short time I was able to use it. It's latest update however requires iOS 17 and now the app will not run on my phone anymore. The app tells me to update, and sends me to the store page which then tells me I don't meet minimum specs. I did three weeks ago, but oh well. Rating 4 stars. Easy to submit expenses, check payslips and log time off. I LOVE IT! Takes seconds to add each expense using the auto detection camera feature. No need to worry about losing receipts as I log them promptly, and all expenses were approved before I even finished my trip. Very handy! ### 5/5 — So easy! *2022-11-01, version 1.1* I love that I can now log my expenses claims on the go. Rather than waiting to get home, take a pic and upload via a browser; I can now do it all straight away in the app. No need to wait!
