### 4/5 — Works well

*2024-11-28, version 1.3*

Works well. Using to control RetroPie from phone. Would appreciate ability to increase size of the activation icon for the special characters (it's difficult to press the small icon in upper left corner) and also ability to rescale those special characters when activated (primarily the arrow keys). Thanks for app.

### 4/5 — Works fine

*2023-08-23, version 1.3*

Installed the driver, per the directions. Installed this app.

Configured the iOS app and it connects right away after restarting the iOS app. Had to watch the video on his webpage to understand how the mouse events are supported

Would like to see some gestures support so that mouse scroll events could be transferred up to allow easier web page browsing

### 4/5 — Works!

*2021-09-08, version 1.3*

Got it to work, though it took a few tries

### 3/5 — Can’t get iPad Pro 11 to use mouse correctly

*2020-04-28, version 1.2*

Great app, but for some reason I can’t get the mouse to perform any command. Have full control and can move the mouse across screen. Keyboard works great.

### 2/5 — It works, not many more positive things to say about it.

*2019-02-11, version 1.2*

Had no trouble getting it working. Basically wanted RemoteMouse for the Pi. This version is sorely lacking in features, and is kind of a pain to use. Regret dropping money on it, but if the developer took notes from RemoteMouse and updated this thing, it could potentially one day be decent.

### 2/5 — Mouse Buttons not working

*2018-07-18, version 1.2*

Mouse movement and keyboard are great, but the left and right mouse clicks don’t work when you tap the screen (so it defeats the purpose)

### 3/5 — iPhone X Support missing

*2018-07-01, version 1.2*

Would be really nice to have it updated to support the iPhone X screen.

### 3/5 — Interesting

*2017-06-01, version 1.2*

Sometimes it kinda does disconnect for a brief period but it's rare. Needed a keyboard better than one cheap garbage one I bought a while ago so this helps. Only made for if you're gonna need to visit websites or stuff like that. Not so much to write papers. (I mean you could but I wouldn't recommend so.. lol) Wish this was made to be connected via Bluetooth though 😅. Also, better keyboard maybe. All in all it's a decent keyboard for decent things.

### 2/5 — Not for use with RetroPi

*2017-02-11, version 1.1.0*

Does not work with emulation station, retropie, or retropie ports such as Kodi

### 3/5 — OK, but the typing...

*2016-04-24, version 1.1.0*

Well, I guess it does what it says, it moves the pointer responsively. But text entry is painful because it can only enter blocks of text asynchronously. So you can't use it like a keyboard, you can't backspace or use arrow keys or all the other things you'd normally do with a keyboard. It needs to take a leaf from the book of iSSH.

### 4/5 — Works lovely-ly

*2016-02-04, version 1.0.26*

The interface feels a little awkward and you don't automatically log back in when the screen times out. Other than that easy to install on pi. Expecting some update
Thanks

### 1/5 — Don't download this

*2022-01-10, version 1.3*

The remotepi program that runs on the Raspberry Pi side has not been updated in many years and only supports armhf, which makes it useless for most of us. So, I'm out $2.

### 1/5 — Not all Pis work

*2022-01-05, version 1.3*

Must be armhf, will not work with arm64

### 1/5 — Luis Please help

*2020-12-04, version 1.3*

I’m connected to the same network, have the correct IP and port and it won’t recognize my Rasberry Pi 3. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and the install shows it is correctly setup and running. Please help

### 1/5 — doesnt work at all dont buy

*2020-10-01, version 1.3*

connects but just never sends any keystrokes. i was really excited about this purchase but was let down.

### 1/5 — Does not connect and nowhere to find a support contact

*2020-06-13, version 1.2*

Just bought and installed this last night. It does not detect my pi. And yes they are in the same network. The description in the website is poorly documented on how to install/detect/troubleshoot from the pi. It only shows how to use. Well we need to connect before we can use. And please add a contact support on your web so we wouldn’t need to write a bad review to ask for help

### 1/5 — Limited functionality

*2020-04-22, version 1.2*

Connected my iPad but screen taps didn’t work. My iPhone wouldn’t connect at all. Probably needs updating after 3 years. Money wasted.

### 1/5 — Doesn't work

*2017-07-28, version 1.2*

I tried it and it did not work. The app could not find my Pi, even though I put the IP address in

### 1/5 — Worthless

*2017-05-31, version 1.2*

Just wasted $2 thanks.

### 1/5 — Couldn't connect

*2016-12-17, version 1.1.0*

I can't connect the app to my retropie.

### 1/5 — Help

*2015-04-12, version 1.0.26*

Where do I get the information for the connection to the pi, I'm confused I have downloaded the driver and says in terminal remotepi already started?

I want a refund how do I get it

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Where has this app been my whole life?

*2022-05-20, version 1.3*

Oh, it’s super old? Well at any rate I’m glad I found it, better late than never. It even works with RetroPie so I can fully access my Pi from emulation station or the desktop without anything other than my phone. Well worth $2.

### 5/5 — Works very well

*2018-12-19, version 1.2*

I wanted to use raspberry pi on the TV in my kitchen without a mouse or keyboard. Since my iPhone is usually in my pocket, this software allows me to use the iPhone as trackpad and keyboard. Beautiful!

### 5/5 — Works great with my MagicMirror

*2018-02-18, version 1.2*

Setup was super simple and it worked with my magic mirror running raspbian stretch flawlessly.

Only suggestion I have is to add scrolling (two finger drag on touch screen?). Other than that, it’s really great.

### 5/5 — Bravissimo! Perfect!!!

*2017-05-04, version 1.2*

Not only does it work perfectly, but the support is wonderful - my questions were answered in no time.
You can use the app anywhere; just make your iPhone a hotspot and connect the RPi. It's the ideal solution for me, since I'll need to access my RPi on the go.
I was actually shocked with how well it works - no latency, connection issues or anything. Bravissimo!!!

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2017-03-12, version 1.2*

I bought and had trouble connecting to my pi3 from my iPhone. I emailed Luis the dev and within minutes he helped me solve the problem. Works great!

### 5/5 — Works as advertised

*2016-12-01, version 1.1.0*

Well done. Very handy and no issues so far.

### 5/5 — Flawless

*2016-09-07, version 1.1.0*

Works flawlessly with my RPi-3.

This is well worth the small app price if you consider the price of Bluetooth keyboard & mouse.

Saved me from buying one of those "all-in-one" remote-style trackpad/keyboard devices seen on Amazon for $15-20.

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2016-09-05, version 1.1.0*

Let's me have keyboard and mouse control of my rpi all from my iPhone. Easy to set up and use.

### 5/5 — This app can be install without a keyboard!!! Amazing!!!

*2016-08-07, version 1.1.0*

This app is exactly what I was looking for. It is simple and do what it is supposed to do. It just saved me the price of a keyboard! Thanks again!!

### 5/5 — Simple and straight forward.

*2016-02-12, version 1.1.0*

I was skeptical to purchase this app upon reading some of the 1-star reviews, but decided the risk was worth the two dollars. Upon installing, I followed the steps on the support page to install the necessary packages on my Pi, and I was able to connect immediately. The interface is simple and straightforward, doing exactly what I need and what I expected. This was worth the two dollars in my opinion.
