## What is Remote Pilot?

Remote Pilot is the official app of RPI (Remote Pilot Indonesia) for drone pilots in Indonesia. Keep your drone flight logbook, take drone pilot classes and certification, check fly zones, and connect with the Indonesian drone community in one app from drone.co.id.

FLIGHT LOG & STATISTICS
Record every drone flight in full detail, including duration, altitude, distance, location, weather conditions, and the drone used. Track your total flight hours and flight statistics in real time.

FLY ZONE & FLIGHT PLAN
Check drone fly zones, NOTAMs, and volcanic ash warnings (ASHTAM) in plain language. Create flight plans, mark the areas you have already flown, and keep working with no signal in the field.

CHECKLISTS & SAFETY
Use preflight, postflight, and emergency checklists based on professional operating standards. Ready to use templates include the GO/NO GO Decision Sheet, Battery Safety Check, and Site Survey Assessment.

IMSAFE ASSESSMENT
Complete an IMSAFE self check (Illness, Medication, Stress, Alcohol, Fatigue, Emotion) before every flight to make sure you are FIT to fly.

DRONE PILOT CLASSES & CERTIFICATION
Take drone training classes from official institutions. Watch video lessons, complete course materials, take exams, check in for attendance, and track your flight hours and simulator sessions right from the app.

PROFESSIONAL PILOT PROFILE
Build a complete portfolio with your personal details, certifications, skills, equipment, education, and projects. Share your public profile and open up career opportunities as a remote pilot.

RPI DIGITAL MEMBER CARD
Manage your Remote Pilot Indonesia member card with a QR code for instant verification. Download it as a PDF or PNG.

INDONESIAN DRONE COMMUNITY
Share flight photos and stories, chat with other pilots, join drone events, find pilots in the directory, and create a freelance profile with your rates and coverage area.

New app icon with a fresh glass style RPI logo
Photo uploads in posts, chat, and attendance work again
Stability and performance improvements

### 1.1.4 — 2026-09-28

- Fixed: on iOS 27 the app closed immediately on launch before showing anything - it now opens normally,
- Updated the app's underlying framework to the latest version for better stability and compatibility with the newest iOS and Android releases

### 1.1.3 — 2026-09-27

- Course attendance: check-in now needs a photo, rating and short story too (same as check-out), with separate Camera and Gallery buttons for adding photos',
- Course lessons: presentation lessons now show Google Slides and PowerPoint files inline, lesson text displays the same rich formatting and images as the web, and lessons using uploaded files load correctly

### 1.1.2 — 2026-09-07

- Course exam redesigned: a cleaner intro with your full attempt history (date, status, score) for multi-attempt exams, a progress bar and tidier question palette during the exam, and a proper score breakdown on the results screen',
- Course exam: the Submit button now stays locked until every question is answered (it jumps you to the first unanswered one instead), so you can\'t hand in a partial paper by accident - the timer still auto-submits if you run out of time',
- Course exam: if the exam is set not to show results right away, submitting now just confirms your answers were recorded instead of revealing the score and pass/fail,
- Fly Zone: an ASHTAM (volcanic-ash notice) in the zone details is now decoded into plain language - a one-line summary plus readable rows for alert level, volcano, position, ash-cloud height and forecast movement - instead of the raw coded message

### 1.1.1 — 2026-09-03

- Events. Browse events as a List, on a Map, or in a Calendar; open a rich event page with the organizer, speakers, a location map,
- Offline mode for Flight Plans. Mark grid cells as flown and add per-cell notes with no signal,
- Event and Flight Plan pages now open instantly from the last-seen copy and refresh quietly in the background,
- Show their last content immediately instead of a loading skeleton, and signing out now clears all cached data
