The app is very well organice, very clear and very friendly to use. I loved the fact that it keeps record of the progress and it tells the strength and the reinforce areas. I was doing 80% average on my practice exams and I decided to go to for it. Came out with a 75% and pass but would recommend go when you are around 90%. In my experience, the real exam was a little more intense than the practice exams on the app. I say there were about probably about a than a dozen questions that were the same in the app and the real exam but mostly similar questions and same charts. If you can understand the concepts in this app and score well on the practice tests you will be fine on the real test. I completed all questions and did maybe 6 practice tests. This app prepared me to take my Part 107 test and I passed my test on the first try. In fact, I think the app over-prepared me. I was scoring 60% and after a month of using this app I started scoring over 80%. Save your money on $200-$300 courses. Just use this app as intended and watch all the free YT videos on Part 107 tests. Go through the flash cards, practice questions based on each subject then take practice tests. LOTS of practice tests. Before long you’ll get the idea. Super stoked to start making money flying ### 5/5 — Aced the Recurrent...But You Have to Study and Undeserstand *2020-10-23* This is a great tool for drilling and focusing on weak areas until you are grooved. I aced the recurrent last week using this course almost entirely, but also had some question types that were not in the prep course. You have to not only understand the right answer, but WHY it is right , and WHY every distractor choice is wrong. Take the time to read the explanations on all of the practice questions, right or wrong, and when you start to recognize all of them and stop missing any, it’s time to check a few other sources for a different spin, and to schedule your test. ### 5/5 — Simply amazing!!!!! Words can’t express. *2020-09-18, version 2.36.1* I set high expectations for myself and push hard to achieve goals that I set. About a month ago with no prior knowledge I set my test date. I tried to study on my own, I found myself lost and confused. I stumbled upon this app and studied like a mad man. I found it to be easy to digest and a useful tool. I was very nervous about using an app that cost $40 and it not being what it says it to be. Passed with an 83 - thanks to this app! In 8/2018, I took the part 107 today and passed with an 84! You will not pass if you don’t study and you won’t pass if you think you can memorize all of the questions and answers in this app and the FAA practice test. I only recognized one question that came from either here or the FAA practice test. On my test, I didn’t have any stable/ unstable air questions. And believe it or not, no long/lat questions. But, I did have to read sectional charts for questions asking about where something was located and was that Class B or C airspace. And would ATC clearance be needed. There was one TAF. I had several questions relating to CG and aft; several on CTAF; several on medicine/alcohol. Use this app. Reading the explanations will help it sink in. ### 5/5 — Worth Every Dime *2020-07-31* I normally do not write reviews but this app is fantastic. If you want to pass your FAA commercial drone 107 exam, get this app. This does not mean just memorizing the answers to the practice questions. If you just memorize the answers you will have difficulty on the exam. The app teaches you the concepts you need to pass the test. Make sure you review the explanation for each question to teach you the concepts you need. Now I’m preparing for my recertification test and have been able to pick up where I left off. This is one of the most valuable tools I’ve found for learning the material needed to pass the Part 107 test. My older iPhone has the attachment link commonly cut out of some questions forcing me to guess when I otherwise would know the answer from looking at the chart. ### 1/5 — $30 doesn’t give you access to the full app. *2018-02-02, version 2.1.10* I assumed paying for the app would give you access to all the material, but they require you to pay $20 on top of that to access the most important parts. The app was glitchy as well, and I regularly had problems viewing the test questions. ### 2/5 — FAASafety.gov has this for free. *2019-03-19, version 2.16.1* FAASafety.gov has a course with all of this information, and much more, for free. The tests in the teaser FlightReady app are nice to see if you’ll be able to answer any of the questions you’ve been given the answers to in the app. The tests show if you can remember the same answers to the questions you’ve gone over again, and again. The app offers “Ground School” for an additional $60, (after the initial $30 400Q teaser)but the information(and more with videos and examples) on FAASafety.gov is all there at no cost. I feel like I’ve been taken for a $30 sucker with the first 400 questions in the teaser app, but you do you. ### 3/5 — Good, but … *2022-12-17, version 2.56.7* I utilized this application as part of my training and prep for the Part 107 exam. I passed, but felt somewhat unprepared during the test. I spent about 14 hours preparing. I found the contents well presented and the graphics are awesome. Today as I run through all the study questions I’m finding some of the maps don’t expand when the map icon is touched. What’s going on? I can’t answer the question if the map doesn’t expand. If I wasn’t already a pilot this would have been extremely difficult to pass using this app alone to study. Lots of spelling errors and far outdated questions. I see it’s last update was 1 year ago and all reviews are from around the same time period. For the price I was disappointed. I did pass but with little help from this app. I recognized 2 questions out of the 398 this app has available to study when taking the real exam. It’s cheaper and more effective to study on the (free) FAA website. **Developer response:** Hello Callmewes, The app itself has not been updated in some time, but the question bank is current and reflects the latest FAA ACS. That being said, we are releasing an all new app in January 2018. You stated that most reviews are from a year ago, but there are in fact quite a few reviews within the past couple of months, all positive and stating passing scores in the 90s. Some users have reported seeing the same or similar questions on the exam, but only seeing two that are identical is not unusual because the FAA does not release it's official question bank. No test prep provider can claim to provide actual FAA questions. For that reason we discourage using the app to memorize answers. This approach is likely to result in a failure on the actual exam. The difference between using the free FAA resources and our app is the FAA sample exams and e-learning include around 100 questions covering part of the ACS, while our app provides nearly 400 questions covering every area of the ACS. In addition, our app provides detailed explanations for every answer. Finally, this app is a test prep app not a ground school course. It is intended for those who are familiar with all the material. We offer a separate ground school course that is intended for those who are not already pilots or are new to drone flying. That course includes 10 hours of lessons that cover every subject matter area listed in the ACS. Some of the questions were word for word, and I felt prepared having seen the various types of questions on the test previously. My only issue with the app was when I was reviewing missed questions, the app would quit almost every time, which made it very difficult to review explanations for answers. Please fix this for future pilots! **Developer response:** Congratulations on scoring 98% on your knowledge test — that’s an outstanding result, and we’re glad the app helped you prepare. Lesson - stick with your first instinct! This app (and lots of time going thru the modules) made the test pretty painless. Most of my questions were on charts, especially airspace.
