This is 2025 and some of us have adopted the radical concept of only browsing secure, ok not really but more secure(?) , webpages as in: https! Yes, that's right, the s stands for secure and many devices are set to NOT allow your not https website from our browsers. Now I have to nuke my iPad and restore it. Lots of my time wasted. With VLC the stream is ok. - I have reduced the bandwidth and now picture is ok. ### 5/5 — Useful! *2024-12-29, version 1.6.0* I struggled to build lists of rtsp links in VLC for monitoring camera streams, and it was awkward and clumsy and difficult. Remote4 made the same task easy! I have tried a lot of other apps and this is by far the fastest to bring up multiple camera feeds and also very customisable. Speed in my opinion is key in a camera feed app. The latest updates that brings full screen with a tap is much appreciated and to be able to have local and remote URL’s also very nice. The only extra function could be that when in full screen, the audio is only for that camera. But I can also see reasons why that doesn’t happen. I use this over the official Unifi Protect app for my cameras.
