### 3/5 — Average

*2024-03-02, version 1.7*

I own the whole suite and the developer hasn’t added any other gauges, the inability to save various layouts, and the lack of variety makes this very average. If the developer would add a consistent library of gauges for various general aircraft, this could compete with Air Manager. Unfortunately, it doesn’t. I do like the HD radio and the HD map find myself wanting far more gauges. the developer should add the ability to save layouts per plane and commit to building more.

### 1/5 — Does not work

*2020-08-26, version 1.7*

Will not connect to Prepar3d V4.5.

### 1/5 — Paying for Extra/Diff Gauges

*2020-08-14, version 1.7*

It makes me angry that you have to pay even MORE MONEY if you want Cessna 172 gauges. You guys (the app developer) pick the gauges for the default layout, but if I want to change it to represent the aircraft that I fly, I must pay even more money. I would rather pay upfront and be able to choose any gauges I want instead of paying for the app, and then having to pay AGAIN to change the gauges. I understand you have to make money to feed your families but it’s pretty deceiving when I download the app thinking I can change the gauges to represent the aircraft I fly in real life only to be surprised when I need to dish out even more money. Come on guys! Make these gauges free, or raise the price of the app a little.

### 1/5 — Extremely hard to install

*2020-05-26, version 1.7*

Spent many hours trying to install. Waste of time. Considered the money a learning lesson. Wish I had passed on this.

### 1/5 — Small selection

*2020-01-16, version 1.7*

Lacks a ton of basic gauges, like fuel, batt, clock, oil, basically all the left side gauges one would want of a c172. The most commonly flown aircraft in a sim. Nothing new in a long time and think they’re done. Take a look at what they show here because that’s it. No way to adjust spacing for pit builders and average simmers. What they have looks great but I hope a more active developer comes along. Also no support for Android really makes me think of doing my own and paying someone to make a ported set.

### 1/5 — Waste of money

*2019-11-16, version 1.7*

After you buy the app you spend more money to get the very common instruments—and that’s not the worst of it. Then you have to download software on your computer. And then you have to remove files from your X-Plane and replace them with other files. It’s a hot mess.

### 1/5 — Dosen’t Work

*2019-05-03, version 1.7*

Dont waste your money

### 1/5 — Don't buy, doesn't work at all

*2017-08-17, version 1.4*

Doesn't work at all, doesn't connect! Issue a refund now. Tried to make it work with x-plane and Fs, doesn't work.

### 2/5 — RF Cockpit not worth the money

*2016-05-29, version 1.4*

$28 AUD buys the basic package however if you don't like any of the gauges in the basic package be prepared to pay at least $10-$12 for any additional gauge you wish to have in the panel. In addition to this the remote server which connects your IPad to FSX on the computer is very temperamental. All in all I'm sorry I wasted $28.

### 3/5 — Hmmm

*2016-02-23, version 1.2*

The cost is very high but the graphic is very good. I m desapointed because the HSI not working with GPS approach. I hope the developer fix that.

### 4/5 — Stunning

*2016-01-27, version 1.2*

Works really well. Nice and smooth and the dials are beautifully rendered. The airspeed dials are all in knots which is fine. Some aircraft I fly are in MPH so it would be nice to have an airspeed dial done in that format. Other than that this is a great app for any aircraft.

### 4/5 — Works well

*2015-12-28, version 1.2*

Way cheaper than electronic panel from places like Saitek, and much easier to use. Only wish they had some engine gauges such as fuel, rpm, etc, since the whole point of this is to get the gauges off the monitor.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work with MS FLIGHT SIM 2024

*2024-10-03, version 1.7*

The apps on pc are security risks. Although they are free, they require opening external ports for no reason. Also, the app has not been updated in 6 years. Air manager is a much safer and more secure choice with no additional applications to be running in the background and it hooks easily to pc. Believe the reviews, don’t spend the money on this.

### 1/5 — App Doesn’t Work | Poor Support

*2024-07-16, version 1.7*

App does not connect to server. Email support and communication is terrible, in all due respect. App has not received update in 6 years. Please fix bugs.

### 1/5 — Solid 0 stars

*2024-06-16, version 1.7*

$20 bucks for an app where instruments are obviously not the common one forcing you to buy standard gauges at extra 5bucks each. Very typical of what scammers do. I regret my purchase.

### 1/5 — No support for M1 Mac

*2023-01-04, version 1.7*

If you own an M1 Mac, don‘t buy this software. The plugin does not work with M1 based Macs and given the update history of this app, it is very unlikely it will ever be supported.

### 1/5 — doesn’t work on MSFS 2020

*2022-04-27, version 1.7*

Can’t get it to communicate with MSFS 2020

### 1/5 — DONT BUY THIS CRAP

*2021-06-29, version 1.7*

I followed all the tips for installation and was able to make it work but it is not satisfactory by any means. There is too much delay between the app and the simulator after trying to tune per their instructions.

Also as a pilot needing to practice instrument skills there is a need to display 2 VOR’s simultaneously. This app won’t allow it. In addition you can read the rest of the bad reviews about having to pay for instruments just to be able to get the same instruments from your typical trainer aircraft.

I ended up buying Air Manager from Sim Innovations. It is a couple more dollars than this garbage; however, it is cheaper than this app plus the extra instruments you end up paying for. Air Manager also integrates with XPlane 11 much easier and has significantly less delay.

 just my 2 cents…#zero stars

### 1/5 — Legit Garbage

*2021-03-22, version 1.7*

I’ve never written a review on itunes. Here I am writing a review... I’m over 20 dollars in to get the gauges that I wanted (let’s keep in mind that I’m trying to sim a steam gauge 172) all to find out that it’s an absolute pain to get this to connect to FS2020. I now have two programs installed to my computer to use this app and still can’t get it to connect. I’ve reset my router, restarted devices, to no avail. Best I can tell... I’m Supposed to edit a file somewhere in the flight sim. There are no helpful instructions that I can find.

Let me reiterate... the stock gauges are a hodgepodge of gauges from no trainer plane I’ve ever seen before with the obvious intent of forcing you to buy what you’re familiar with.

!DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU HAVE TIME AND MONEY TO BURN!

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2021-01-18, version 1.7*

How do I get a refund?

### 1/5 — Not Easy

*2020-10-10, version 1.7*

The instruments are beautiful, but it’s a mess to use. Every time I start up x-plane I have to go back through the install docs to get it to work. Don’t buy unless you have tons of time to set it up every time.

### 1/5 — Causes X-Plane glitch after installing

*2020-08-31, version 1.7*

This app looks like it’s nicely designed, and I was excited to use it. However, after I installed the X-Plane plugin, I found that I could no longer use the menu systems — including the Plugins menu to activate the RemoteFlight server.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great app

*2024-12-04, version 1.7*

Great only if you follow the instructions. Go to the website for complete instructions and follow them to the letter! Takes a little patience but it is worth it in the end.

### 5/5 — Great addition to MSFS

*2023-02-27, version 1.7*

I hate flying without having this map extension. Works amazing every time. Great product for the money.

### 5/5 — Works perfectly with MSFS

*2023-01-06, version 1.7*

All good but just a little request: I have purchased pretty much all the different gauges and I got to the point where I am using two iPads to display different gauges. I know that the app has not been updated for years but, is there any way you could possibly add an “empty/blank gauge so it can be selected on any position instead of forcing you to select an existing gauge?I hate that i need to select existing gauges in my second iPad and end up having some duplicate gauges showing in both iPads. Thanks.

### 5/5 — Works great with FS2020

*2021-06-02, version 1.7*

I’ve had no issues and was able to connect it correctly the first try. It’s a bit of a process but just follow the steps and it works great! Love having the gauges on my iPad, so much easier to see and react for smooth flying.

### 5/5 — Why the complaints?

*2021-05-20, version 1.7*

This app installed easily and works great with msfs 2020. Not sure if an update fixed previous issues, but it definitely works. You can also easily move around the displays. Worth the money.

### 5/5 — Awesome!

*2018-02-04, version 1.7*

I really love the HSI feature, it’s perfect for shooting instrument approaches. Perfect app as an add on for your sim!

### 5/5 — Love these apps

*2016-12-17, version 1.4*

Been using these for a year or so. Really cool and useful to have your radio stack, instruments and/or maps working with Flight Simulator and on your iPad or phone. Install is straightforward using instructions on their website and once it is installed you never have to fool with it. I use it with FS2004 and FSX and have never had a problem with it.

### 5/5 — Very pleased

*2016-10-18, version 1.4*

Well I for one am very pleased with this purchase! It does what it says on the box and is much more affordable than real equipment. My only wish is that it had "swipe" so I could switch instrument sets even faster. Would love to see a chrono added.

### 5/5 — Awesome Gauges!

*2015-06-12, version 1.2*

I was a little skeptical about the cost, but after using them on several flights, I am very impressed with the quality of the gauges. They are extremely fluid and no problems with lag. I purchased the Advanced package primarily for the HSI. The advanced gauges are awesome and very reasonable for the quality.

### 5/5 — Bienfait

*2014-08-16, version 1.2*
