No matter what I try, it crashes as soon as you click and hold to drag something on the remote host. The circle appears, then once you drag it crashes. iPhone 17pro latest iOS on a Mac host latest os. Since Acronis bought the company, they have updated the Mac application which continues to work well. However, the iPadOS and iOS app is still the Remotix version and is starting to show its age on the most modern versions of the operating systems. It often crashes when launched on the iPad (a Pro with lots of memory), sometimes necessitating a delete and reinstall. It does not like Stage Manager at all. This is a real pity. I sincerely hope that Acronis will turn their attention to the iPad version of the app and bring it up to date. Видимо для MAC имеется другой продукт, который следует покупать отдельно, но используя iMazing можно запускать на маке и эту версию не переплачивая. **Developer response:** В версии 8 много обновлений и исправлений. Nulana no longer exists. *2023-12-18, version 8.4* Remotix was acquired by Acronis, and the Mobil versions, iOS, iPadOS are not supported and are two years out of date. Quote from Acronus: “For the iOS version, however, we cannot release a fix: since Remotix got acquired by Acronis, the mobile apps were never updated, and we currently cannot release anything as Nulana (as Nulana no longer exists), and Acronis mobile team apparently cannot do it either (as they aren't familiar with the code at all, and it needs a lot of work now that it's two years behind the main repository).” I had requested support for a consistent crash issue when trying to move/drag anything on the remote computer. The issue is known by the developer and developer states the following: 1) We have other priorities and will not be fixing the break at this time. Will just use something else now. Don’t need yet another paid service want to own sensitive access data. Thanks. ### 1/5 — Where is App support?? *2018-11-27, version 7.2* So I have the latest OS Mohave 10.14 on my iMac and of course I have an iPhone 7+ with the latest iOS version on it. Bought the app for my iPad and iPhone for $10 then had to purchase it again for my iMac. It was $19.99 for the iMac. Spent the money but haven’t figured out how to make it work. There is no contact email embedded within the app to reach out to support for step by step instructions on anything. All I’m trying to do is remotely control my iMac from my iPhone. I use Plex often thru my iMac as a server to watch movies and shows. I wanted an app that could connect me to my iMac and change settings, reset Plex, or do simple tasks while I’m away from home. So far, I don’t see how to get it connected. My computer shows up in the “bonjour” list and gives a “.local” address. Could someone point me in the correct direction to get this resolved? I will update this post and re-rate the app if I can get some help. It works great allowing me full functionality without needing a keyboard or mouse. Mostly very useful. *2025-02-03* I would say out of several remote desktop style product I have used, this one is one of the most simple to setup and configure and use. Only the mildest learning curve gettin used to manipulating the various input modes on smaller size touchscreens.. Would like to see a little more information kicked back to me when a connection fails and some automated troubleshooting or diagnostic algorithms wouldn’t hurt anything. I use mostly iOS/MacOS. Sees those easily. Have a couple non-Apple Linux/UNIX machines running and those are more of a challenge (but then that’s kind of expected … many Linux users might even be offended if it seemed TOO straightforward). I rarely use Windows and honestly can’t remember if Remotix saw them easily or not. But overall it works well. There’s even an AppleTV version. The mac app counterpart is so very nice as well ### 5/5 — M2 iPad - Stupid Easy RDP over SSH *2023-01-15* I was really bummed to not find any great solutions to remote connect to my labs of Windows machines, macOS machines and servers. I found Remotix off the RoyalTSX website. I use that other app on my macOS machines, but they do not have a real client for iOS/iPADOS. Back to Remotix. If you are a sysadmin and need to access RDP and VNC over SSH, this is the app for you. It has many display options from resolution to zoom level.. and it just works. The touch, touchpad options are also great. Because of this app, I can leave my MacBook Air at home and be able to do everything for my job.
