Do you have doubts when correcting the dose of antibiotics for your patient's kidney function? If the answer is YES, then this app is made for you. As we know, it is extremely important to correct the medications dosage based on the patient's renal function as it is possible to avoid many of the drugs side effects. Thus, it is necessary to calculate the patient's GFR and then look for updated and reliable tables that allow this correction. This is not always done quickly and easily. With that in mind, the SmartMedic company developed the Renal Dose application. Through it, you can use the calculator of your choice to calculate the patient’s renal function (CKD-EPI, Cockcroft-Gault or MDRD) and then have access to medications with doses already corrected by creatinine clearance, enabling agility and safety at the time of prescription. The application has correction for the renal function of antibiotics, antifungals, antivirals and antiepileptic drugs. Do not get chumped like me. **Developer response:** The Application has glomerular filtration rate calculators in three different ways: Cockroft & Gault, MDRD, CKD-EPI, allowing users to choose the formula that suits them best. After calculating the glomerular filtration rate, there is a page with several medications to be selected and all of these medications have doses already adjusted for the clearance calculated by the user, making it easier to obtain corrected doses.
