### 5/5 — Good idea / some issues

*2026-06-04*

Many thanks to the developer for the valuable improvements implemented. The view content action is fantastic and replaces two basic actions! The converter is excellent; I use it daily in my Shortcuts. The app logic is generally fine, but I would prefer that after completing the task (button ‘Done’), the app simply closes without returning to Shortcuts or to the app’s interface. Despite this minor issue (or designed feature for other users), the app is unique in the Store and deserves 5 stars. In future versions, it would be beneficial to include a variety of Markdown templates, similar to those implemented in Bear Notes.

**Developer response:** Thanks Mark — this is really helpful feedback, and you're in luck: version 1.1.0 (in review now) adds a "Return to Shortcuts" setting so you can turn that bounce-back off, plus a background "Convert Markdown to HTML" action if you'd rather not show the viewer at all. The viewer waits for you to close it so the content stays on screen until you're done reading, but making the return optional was exactly the right call. Hope the update works better for your scenarios — please let me know!

### 3/5 — Good idea / some issues

*2026-02-16*

Good idea, well implemented in general! However, it doesn’t work perfectly in my scenarios. In particular, it displays MD/HTML (well done!), waits for the user to close it (why?), and then returns to Shortcuts (could be an option)— which is an issue for me.

### 5/5 — Very Neat Idea

I will definitely have to try to level up my shortcuts game to find ways to integrate this. I love when developers come up with an idea to extend shortcuts. And I hope Apple doesn’t abandon it. Speaking of which somebody should write a program that converts from Applescript to shortcuts!!

**Developer response:** Thank you! That's exactly the spirit behind the app — extending Shortcuts in ways Apple hasn't. Have fun integrating it, and 1.1.0 (coming soon) adds a unified "View Content" action that auto-detects HTML vs Markdown to make it even easier. (And ha — an AppleScript-to-Shortcuts converter would be amazing.)

• Markdown tables now render as proper tables.
• Fixed special characters such as angle brackets and ampersands so they display correctly.
