## What is RendrLab?

Rendr is a simple, offline viewer for the React and web files you already keep on your device.

Open a folder of your .jsx, .tsx, and .html files through the Files app, and Rendr renders each one in a clean, full-screen preview using a built-in React + web runtime. There is no build step, no setup, and no servers. Everything happens on your device.

WORKS WITH YOUR OWN FILES
Rendr reads files from a folder you choose through the Files app. It has no catalog and no store, and it downloads nothing; it only shows the files that are already on your device.
• Pick any folder and Rendr lists the .jsx, .tsx, and .html files and subfolders inside it
• Nested folders are supported, with a tappable breadcrumb so you always know where you are
• Search within a folder and across your whole tree
• Sort by name or date modified
• Smart automatic icons from folder names (plus a custom icon and color for any item)
• Pull to refresh to pick up new files
• Add files to Rendr from other apps via the share sheet
• Universal: iPhone and iPad, with a split view on iPad

FULLY OFFLINE AND PRIVATE
Files are rendered in a sandboxed runtime that is blocked from all network access. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is downloaded, and nothing phones home. Rendr collects no data: no accounts, no analytics, no tracking. The folder you choose is read only on your device, and the app saves just a secure bookmark and your display preferences locally.

GOOD TO KNOW
• Rendr is offline by design. Files that try to load remote data or call the network won't fetch anything. Rendr is for previewing self-contained files you already have, not for browsing the web.
• It runs a fixed, built-in React + TypeScript + web runtime. Self-contained files render best; files that depend on external packages may not render in full.
• Rendr renders your files; it doesn't edit them.

Rendr is a focused, private way to preview the React and web files you already keep on your device.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.3.1 — 2026-06-18

Favorites no longer drops the favorite categorization after renaming

### 1.3 — 2026-06-17

Organize your library, your way.

• First-run setup: keep it simple with one clean library, or start from
customizable folders (Apps, Drafts, Knowledge, Archive) you can rename
  and reorder.
• Favorites: star the dashboards you open most so they're always one tap away.
• iCloud sync: keep your library on all your devices, or keep it local.
Switch anytime in Settings, and nothing is lost in the move.
• New files are flagged until you open them, so nothing slips by.
• Your library now appears in the Files app, under On My iPad and iCloud Drive.

As always, everything renders fully offline. Nothing leaves your device.

### 1.2 — 2026-06-16
