PEAR® for Renew Active® is a digital fitness app free and exclusive for UnitedHealthcare® Medicare members! Designed specifically for you, personalized training plans are prescribed based on your unique goals, needs and biometric data. Using PEAR® Training Intelligence® AI engine, the app adjusts the plan as you train, making exercise both easy and fun! 

GPS and sound are utilized while the app is in the background of the users phone to provide the best user experience. 

Exercise plans have a variety of workout types including endurance, strength, balance, and flexibility. This app takes the guesswork out of your workout! Expert coaches will guide you through each workout and also share important facts about being active and how it benefits you.

I don’t believe that this app is approved by United Healthcare. I called in to make an inquiry about this, and it appears to be unauthorized app. This shouldn’t be in the Apple Store in the first pkace.

This app is all about fitness for younger people. Most of the workouts and the VO2 test involve running .  I am 77 on Medicare and can’t run any more. You would think UHC would have a fitness app for seniors.

Before accepting a login I’d and password, the app wants one to review the terms and conditions but there doesn’t appear any way to accept them.
