ReNext: The Cognitive Execution Operating System for Humans

One thumb.
One system.
Your entire life.

VISION
ReNext becomes: The layer between human intention and ultimate goal/dream.

Humans don’t think in tasks. They think in: meaning, memory, direction, and goal/dream. But modern tools just ignore this. So productivity tools haven’t evolved in 20 years. But ReNext does.

ReNext keeps it simple, clear and natural with a feeling of more accuracy, less process, less time, and less energy in three layers: thinking, remembering, and executing.

THEORETICAL:
Reduce task fragmentation time by 44%
3× project completion efficiency
Cognitive switching cost reduction 30% ~ 70%

USE CASES
Managing complex projects with structured cognitive frameworks.
Organizing personal and professional life goals systematically.
Externalizing memory and intention for improved decision-making.
Structuring thought processes to combat information overload.
Enhancing productivity for knowledge workers through digital cognition tools.

HELPFUL FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING PROFESSIONS:
Project Manager
Executive
Researcher
Entrepreneur
Consultant
Academic
Product Manager
Knowledge Worker: teachers and students, creators, artists, writers, freelancers, and so on.

WHY YOU NEED ReNext:
1) Designed for One-Handed Mastery
ReNext starts with one-handed use.
Interaction zones are placed in the most natural thumb-reachable areas, eliminating unnecessary hand switching, mental friction, and interruption.
Stay in flow—anytime, anywhere, with one thumb.
2) A Philosophical Cognitive Framework
ReNext extends the classical question:
Where I come from, who I am, where I am going.
Your brain remembers experiences better than plans.
ReNext evokes memory through structure, helping you reconnect past actions, present identity, and future goals.
3) Project Groups, Not Fragmented Tasks
Traditional to-do apps fragment thinking.
ReNext uses to-do groups as the atomic unit, keeping projects coherent across all pages—no chaos, even with identical task names, even after years.
Think in projects, not fragments.
4) Natural Thumb-Centered Interaction
Every gesture follows your thumb’s natural movement trajectory.
Swipe, drag, long-press, and universal back gestures are optimized for comfort, speed, and joy.
Productivity should feel intuitive, not exhausting.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY:
Love and Nature. Minimalist. Human-Centered.
Balance & Humanity: Tools should match human instincts—not force humans to adapt to tools.
Optimal Visual Effect Ratio: Maximum clarity with minimal visual noise.
Nature Is Simplest: Color and space replace heavy frames and lines, inviting exploration and discovery.
Broke the top-down framework to make ReNext accessible for all hand sizes—children and adults alike.

### 3/5 — Bad app for small screen

*2026-02-20*

It should be made for small screen instead said ignore it
Other apps can do but this dev said “no”, quite so funny
Update after got feedback: I think you can use sim or design scroll to have better UI

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. However, I'm currently working alone. Innovative products cannot be perfect at the outset and require tolerance. To create this ideal product, I (zero technical background) have painstakingly developed it myself with AI assistance from zero. Unlike others with robust corporate resources, I don't even have the funds to purchase a small-screen iPhone. This prevents me from optimizing performance based on real-world usage to ensure a seamless user experience. I, too, wish to earn user recognition and, with the corresponding income, refine the user experience as much as possible. Yet in reality, what I've reaped are privacy concerns from users, and persistent use of two accounts to maliciously flood ReNext with negative reviews as an act of retaliation. I don't even get feedback on where exactly the optimization issues lie. For example, which interface or which section. At the very least, you need clues to have any hope of solving the case, right?

I recall someone raised this issue about six months ago, and I patiently explained it to someone. If you are someone. I'm truly grateful for your continued interest in ReNext—whether through your use of it or love of it or your frustration with its shortcomings.

Update: Testing on simulators and development devices is highly unreliable. I've encountered scenarios where the development version worked fine on both simulators and physical devices, yet critical errors occurred after uploading to the App Store—such as gestures and iCloud failing to function. This likely stems from certain processing steps during the upload to App Store Connect. To safeguard user experience, I only trust TestFlight versions that have been processed through App Store Connect and run on physical devices. If the TestFlight version functions correctly, it represents the official version release. This ensures the testing workflow aligns with the user's actual usage flow, thereby guaranteeing a consistent user experience.

Thank you again and I’m really very sorry.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2026-01-25*

Doesn’t work on iPhone but it’s smaller screen it gets stuck on the video tutorial and can’t close it

**Developer response:** Hello, I believe I addressed your question via DM on Reddit.

Since ReNext incorporates many new gesture interactions, I designed it so that the arrow to continue only appears at the bottom after watching the video once, allowing users to quickly grasp how to use ReNext. And it got solved in the next version.

Additionally, if your iPhone is an SE series, I don't have the relevant device and had to abandon optimization for it now but maybe optimize in the future depending on ReNext’s revenues—iPhone fragmentation is becoming increasingly severe.

Finally, I hope it will solve your problem and hope you'll reconsider your review. Every negative rating—even if based on misunderstanding—deals a devastating blow to ReNext.

### 5/5 — Goatimehearder

It’s a very good app.

**Developer response:** Thank you. Please enjoy it.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.32 — 2026-10-27

Optimized for iOS 27.

Added “End Time” reminders.

Optimized lock screen notifications: Important notifications are marked with a blue circle, and recurring notifications are marked with a repeat icon.

New share feature via Airdrop or file: Home > To-do > Swipe left to share as a JSON file to another iPhone's ReNext.

Home > Three color dots > Click to view all to-do groups or important to-do groups.

Fixed some bugs. ReNext is way ahead of its time. iOS can’t keep up with its bottom-to-top framework; when navigating between interfaces using the natural Zoom Transition, iOS interprets the bottom as the top and swiping down as a return to the previous screen. It’s only recognized correctly after swiping up to activate the LazyVstack container. It’s highly unlikely that Apple would make low-level adjustments to iOS just for me.

I'm working on iPhone Duo version ReNext for double-hand user experience and ReCountdown. Stay turned.

### 2.27 — 2026-09-20

Optimized for iOS 27.
If you're on iOS 26, don't update! Don't update! Don't update! Due to the logic change of the bottom toolbar for iOS 27, the new logic is not suitable for iOS 26 anymore.

Strongly recommend upgrading to iOS 27 for the best experience.
Refined the Search page to follow the new logic of the bottom toolbar in iOS 27.

### 2.24 — 2026-08-17

Refined the home screen.
Refined logic of Add & Edit page for iOS 27.

### 2.23 — 2026-04-19

The final update.
Refined the Home page, Add & Edit page, Completed to-do groups page, and the Search page.

### 2.22 — 2026-04-09

• Korean support.
• Tag with Liquid Glass and translatable on the Search page.
• “Jump to Bottom” with Liquid Glass on the Home page.
