### 3/5 — Great tool as a PM

*2026-08-22, version 8.26.0*

I love the tool, but why does the app cache photos for forever? I do a ton of inspections, and in the last 2 months since I got a new phone, the on phone storage in the app has built up to over 20gb. That’s insane! Once an inspection is complete and synced with the system, it should automatically offload the inspection from my phone!

### 4/5 — Once I got everything working . . .

*2026-07-21, version 8.23.0*

I liked doing the inspection — made me much more aware of my environment, and created a helpful document. But I hard a hard time loading the app and attaching camera. I hope the Endor will streamline the process.

### 4/5 — 1st time

*2026-07-18, version 8.23.0*

First time using the app. Very helpful and easy to use. Maybe if I continue to use it and have more experience, I would give it a 5 star.

### 2/5 — Glitchy mess

*2026-07-13, version 8.23.0*

Frequent systemic crashes. Currently using to submit an inspection on a rental and I have to force close it after every section because it “can’t find the camera”

### 4/5 — Renter

*2026-05-06, version 8.18.1*

This was so different for me but kind of fun.

### 4/5 — Super easy to complete!

*2025-11-23, version 8.9.0*

### 5/5 — Parent

### 5/5 — Great service!

### 5/5 — Rent check

Easy to navigate and user friendly

### 5/5 — Easy for Renters, Property Managers and Homeowners

*2024-07-15, version 7.10.2*

This is an efficient way for all parties involved in a property to assist in accessing the condition of a home. The photo upload is easy and less of a hassle than paperwork lists.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Took Over 4 Hours to Complete

*2026-07-22, version 8.23.0*

This app has created so many required photos and questions that it took over 4 hours to complete a move in inspection for a small 3 bedroom home. The goal appears to be making the process so difficult that the tenant waives their inspection rights. The tenant should document what is wrong and the landlord should document the overall condition. Asking the tenant to take photos of both sides of an air filter and inside and out of every cabinet is cruel and unusual. If your landlord uses this app seriously consider renting somewhere else!

### 1/5 — Terrible for Tenants

*2026-05-09, version 8.18.1*

I paid a higher rent specifically because the landlord hired a management company to handle all aspects related to the property, including inspections and documentation.

However, at move-out, this responsibility was effectively pushed onto me through this app.

I spent over 1 hour and 40 minutes completing a long and tedious inspection process, taking numerous photos of every detail.

On top of that, I had to deal with app crashes, connection issues, and repeated interruptions.

Altogether, this cost me more than two hours of my time.

### 1/5 — Camera function doesn’t work

*2026-01-26, version 8.11.2*

I’ve been trying to complete an inspection but the camera function is not working properly. Every time I go to the camera it doesn’t project the view onto the screen. It’s just a black screen with the shutter button. Whenever I click the shutter button an error message pops up and tells me to try again. No matter how many times I try it doesn’t work. I checked all the other apps on my phone that has access to my phone’s camera and they all work perfectly. So, it is indeed this app that’s the problem.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2026-01-04, version 8.11.2*

I have had to use this app through nomad rental properties and I think that the issues are related to that companies poor performance but as I can’t be sure they both get the lowest score possible. I received links to complete move out inspection and could not get the app to populate the option. Moving out shouldn’t be so complicated. I shouldn’t have to prompt my rental company or landlord to allow me to complete this option. If I do not receive my deposit back I am blaming this app.

### 1/5 — Property Manager Review

*2025-11-04, version 8.7.3*

I use this app every day for my job. It started out great but it’s so laggy it turns a 1 hour job into 2 almost every time. Sometimes it works great but most times it doesn’t. It stores information very well so it’s rare I need to retake the pictures when the app crashes. But the app has started crashing more and more it’s almost better if I find a new app or just start doing the pictures and descriptions myself.

### 1/5 — Permissions

*2025-07-06, version 8.0.0*

Completely lost on why this app now needs access to my microphone. How is my conversations relevant to pictures of the property.

### 1/5 — New update June 2025

*2025-07-02, version 8.0.0*

I am only writing this because although I use it EVERY DAY and perform HUNDREDS of inspections every month, i haven’t had a problem until today that seriously makes me hate the app.
New update from rentcheck says bug fixes and performance improvements, sounds great right?
BUT they changed the UI for inspections very drastically. It’s mostly the same except for zoom. It is IMPOSSIBLE to zoom in or out on iphone. I have an iphone 14 PM with the 3-camera setup. There used to be 0.5x, 1.0, and 2.5x default buttons that stayed at the bottom of the screen but you could also pinch to zoom. Those are gone now. Okay, fine. No problem. I can still pinch to zoom like every other app in existence that uses the camera, right?? RIGHT?????? Nope. No pinch to zoom. it doesn’t work anymore. There’s a singular button in the corner that lets you toggle through all different zoom levels, but you have to tap it 6 times to go through them all without any fine/micro adjustments.
Please fix this ASAP and bring back the dedicated zoom level buttons. I will change my review once fixed.

### 1/5 — Encourages landlords to not inspect properties

*2025-03-20, version 7.25.0*

The concept sounds good. But…my management has never step foot in this unit. How do I know? After signing the lease, I moved a few items then when I returned, the front bedroom was saturated due to a leak in a sprinkler pipe connection. The previous resident probably used this app, which would not reveal a leak. After chatting with the city, they determined the leak began 6 weeks prior to me even viewing the rental. Management never bothered to check the structure at all. This app might be convenient but is NOT effective.

### 1/5 — 4th Amendment

*2024-07-10, version 7.10.2*

This an invasion of privacy!

### 1/5 — Can’t even create an account

*2024-07-01, version 7.10.1*

The account log-in screen won’t size correctly and cuts off access to input your log-in information on iPad 11, so it’s impossible to even create an account. Useless.
