If you ask for missing things they will ask you to pay extra for other product. I rented a TV , as per their ad its clearly written tv stand is in the box, at delivery I didn’t get the stand, i escalated they said you have to rent tv unit we dint have stand, 1st question if i already Have tv unit, why should i rent, and 2nd which kind of stand it is which is not applicable to my tv unit but your rented tv unit will be compatible with it. Then they are scamming like if u cancel the order we will not refund you. And this is the scam, entire 1 month rent + deposit+ the charges and taxes they have taken all are gone. Don’t buy or rent from rentomojo, my worst experience that too their customer care is highly unprofessional and no manners to talk. Their delivery executives are like continuously calling and asking to stay at home as apart from me they cant deliver to my family members. They told me to take office leave if i want delivery. Helpful staff! ### 2/5 — Bad customer care experience *2026-03-08, version 3.0.0* I’ve had a very disappointing experience with Rentomojo’s customer support. The customer care executives are quite rude and do not respond in a timely manner. When I called regarding a simple request to reschedule my product return by just two days (since we won’t be available), the response was not helpful at all. They kept saying that the delivery team will call and only then can it be handled. When I asked what happens if I miss the call or if they don’t call at all, they simply repeated the same answer instead of providing a clear solution. They also didn’t mentioned that rescheduling can be done through the app, and conversation itself felt very rude and dismissive. For a simple request, the experience should have been much smoother. I hope Rentomojo improves the professionalism and responsiveness of their customer support team. ### 1/5 — Rento Mojo totally fraud *2026-03-03* They are charging too much for any subscription. You have taken. I have taken the subscription for bed and mattress, and I have worst experience earlier. Also, rent executive support is very bad. They won’t connect with you when you need them. They will generate new bill for you and then they will call you and ask you for extra amount for your subscription. Also, they have some certain rules for early closer charges, you will have to pay early closer charges. If you are closing your subscription within or before your time, you need to close the subscription exactly on the day when your service is going to end if you are closing the subscription few days before it’s not going to work out, they will tell you need to close the subscription exactly this same day, and you cannot connect them when you are trying to close the product. You will be only connected back from them. When they are eligible to charge you extra for next month bill. I would rather suggest everyone to purchase the product directly. ### 1/5 — No service, customer support, will hold you money for long without you getting real services. *2026-02-16, version 2.9.0* I placed an order for rent. The app took upfront payment, not allowing to proceed without payment of product. Then asks for kyc verifications of both myself and parents. Due to their own problems, had to fill kyc 5times, the verification alone took more than 3days. Multiple times prompting and forcing for parent verification even though once done. After all this, a phone was made from their end, requesting bank statement, which i provided and then i got a call today, saying the account balances don’t match in the bank statement - official e-statement provided by sbi itself, and requesting for our offer letter of internship and parent bank statement. Now i have joining from tomorrow nd m stuck with no source for purified water. ### 1/5 — Frustrating and Incompetent App *2026-02-09, version 2.9.0* The entire app experience is so horrid with so many bugs and slow app UI. Wasn’t able to complete KYC as the app was buggy, went to chat with support but the app wouldn’t update replies unless I kill and reopen the app after every message. Asked to speak with a human agent but even the responses from the agent were clearly AI bot generated (absolutely no empathy or resolution). Rentomojo can call me directly daily in case they need anything but there isn’t a single number I can dial to talk to a human, even the chat support would put together heaven and hell to not arrange for a requested callback. I now have a headache because I have had to be navigating through the app bugs for 2 hrs now and have no other option but to leave this review and try to cancel my orders. ### 1/5 — Worst service and fake promise *2026-01-04* They have taken my money after promising that they will will be delivering my items but suddenly after the payment was done the sales guy has stopped responding me also I recieved and message from them for the confirmation delivery of my items for another date for another date without my consent like they do all the things themselves they do not care about the cx preference also now my money and both the service and the customer support and both the sales team is not helping me my money 2941 is gone also my item for that is not delivered yet which is a pathetic service which they provide never thought they Would do such fraud to cx will complain this to consumer court as well also they don’t have any customer care support for emergency also they will not help you with the manager or logistic team which will at least clarify I’ll be getting my delivery or not Please ban this app and their service they should not run in AppStore such cheap money fraud app do fraud with cx and taken their money be ready for the legal outcome and also guys please think 10 times before using or taking the service take on your own risk 😂 they will be suied soon ha fraud app and now they are charging to something settlement charges from no where ### 1/5 — Fraud company *2025-12-19, version 2.8.9* I had cancelled my subscription well in advance, but the furniture was never picked up. After this, the company completely disabled the query resolution section in the app, leaving me with no way to raise a request or complaint. The chat support has been non-functional, and despite repeatedly calling customer care and requesting pickup, I was met with complete indifference. Meanwhile, I continued to be charged rent. I had clearly informed the company multiple times that I vacated the apartment. The furniture is currently with the owner of the property. Since the company failed to act despite several follow-ups, they will now need to coordinate directly with the owner to recover their furniture. To be very clear, this is not my furniture, yet I made consistent efforts to get it returned. There has been absolutely no support from the company’s end. This review is being posted only because there is no other channel left for the company to acknowledge or address the issue. I am no longer liable for the furniture. ### 5/5 — Wardrobe *2025-12-13, version 2.8.9* Services was amazing, quick and on-time. ### 1/5 — Don’t rent anything out *2025-10-24, version 2.8.9* Just took a water filter. Delivery was not on scheduled time. Installation guy screwed up installation and now it’s dripping all over the floor.
