## What is Rentwitness?

Rentwitness is a private rental-condition workspace for documenting what you can observe at move-in, during maintenance, and at move-out.

Start with the property and rooms, then work through practical coverage prompts instead of relying on memory. Add condition ratings, factual notes, photos, observed dates, communication follow-ups, keys, parking items, and meter readings. Before-and-after views keep phases together, while evidence timelines show the difference between the date you report observing something and the time the record was added to the app.
