Delay and controls could be slightly better but overall happy with result. ### 2/5 — App Update *2026-08-19, version 4.61.0* The latest update is bad. Before, right when you open the app you can see the status of and turn on/off the pir motion sensor without fully opening the camera. Some cameras I leave off during the day, so I could just go down the list and toggle muliptle cameras on/off quickly. Now you can’t see from the Home Screen the PIR status and have to open the camera-go to settings-go to PIR and then toggle on or off for each one every time. Awful. Who thought that was a good idea? ### 3/5 — PIR buttons *2026-08-19, version 4.61.0* The new update removes the quick on/off PIR motion sensor buttons on the main app page. Instead, you now have to access each camera individually via settings to turn the PIR sensors on/off and to check if they’re activated or not. Really stupid change. ### 2/5 — Removed Features *2026-08-19, version 4.61.0* I like the latest update but it has removed the ability to focus from the camera fullscreen view entirely. The cameras have a hard time focusing in low light conditions and manual focus is needed. Please re-add this. ### 2/5 — Fiddling techs *2026-08-16* Had this app for seven years, on my phone and my iPad. Someone thinks it’s a good idea to change features that we are all used to and work. I must give the developers credit for reinstating the camera on/off tab. But now there is a problem of NO grid of all cameras on startup where you select which camera to use etc. I have to delete and reload the app after one days use because it won’t connect to the internet anymore. No problem with my iPhone which still uses a previous version so I KNOW it was the tinkering of techs. It still has the grid of cameras on startup up as well. STOP playing and fix the problems people write in reviews. ### 2/5 — I used to love this until the update! *2026-08-16, version 4.61.0* Camera keeps reconnecting and disconnecting. Notifies and then nothing. Please fix your app! I changed the password because a couple of playbacks the camera was moving on its own. Wierd. ### 2/5 — Version 4.61.0 Problems *2026-08-16, version 4.61.0* The app has always just been okay in terms of how well it performs. (usually lags to pull up video, if it does at all. I often have to close the app I just opened and open it again.) Since the 4.61.0 update it’s been almost unusable. It takes even longer for video feed to pull up after a notification. It makes the entire point of having the cameras moot. Occasionally it won't connect for no apparent reason, but only occasionally. Latest update has removed the button on the Home Screen to toggle on and off motion detection for each camera. Now you have to go to the settings for each individual camera, wait for the screen to load and then change the switch. App especially this latest one is no good. There’s no easy way to turn off motion alerts anymore without going into settings. This latest update is atrocious. So much broken. So many bad design decisions. It’s clear Reolink has no clue what it is doing with software. They’ve relied far too long on inexpensive hardware to get them where they are. Beware and stay away. Regret my Reolink purchase more and more each day. The latest update removes the ability to turn off alerts with one touch, without logging into each camera to disable it. Would be great if they left the app alone…the last two updates are just terrible…unsolicited dual view on the Home Screen and now this. Just. Terrible. So, users can’t immediately see what is on and what is off. Sometimes the app does not connect and relies on data, but when the setting is already chosen to use data, it continues to fail. Once I disconnect my wifi and all cameras are back. ### 1/5 — Shortcut *2026-08-09* When creating a Shortcut (Scene) in the mobile app, actions (such as enabling/disabling Push Notifications) can only be applied to the NVR as a single unit, affecting all channels simultaneously. The 4k capture of images is just OK as they are clear enough to pinpoint a search. The DVR far exceed many competitors that offer cloud storage capabilities only. I can access footage from my phone, iPad, computer or stand alone monitor. Besides, I rather pay an upfront cost for a Reolink ecosystem to get what I need ….rather than paying a subscription for a gimmicky unreliable camera system that captures and stores (30) second or less clips of movement at low quality. ### 5/5 — Great Security Cameras *2026-07-21, version 4.60.4* I had several different brands of Security Cameras. Reolink so far out performs in their Cameras and their App. Would be nice to broadcast to our television sets!!!!
