### 4/5 — It does the job...

*2024-08-07*

It's the only app I have seen that does this. It works well but -1 star because it could use a UI refresh/update.

### 5/5 — Much appreciated!

*2024-03-26*

This app does one important thing very well. It provides exactly the drag-to-reorder bars I wish existed in the native Contacts app. Now I don’t have to delete my friend’s old home address—I can just rename it “previous”, use this app to reorder it downward, and his current address now shows up first in Maps, etc. Thanks so much!

### 5/5 — Gem of an app

*2024-02-04*

Reorder It is one of the simplest and most delightful apps in the whole iPhone ecosystem. It takes a common and annoying problem — changing the order of various contact information — provides an easy solution with no frills and no privacy invasion. Great stuff.

### 5/5 — Still works in 2023!

*2023-11-19*

Fantastic app that does exactly as it says!

### 5/5 — Was 4 stars now 5

*2023-10-05*

Developer responded to my comment about text being difficult to read in dark mode. Developer fixed the problem. App works great and developer is responsive. 5 stars to both. By the way, I didn’t realize dark mode was controlled by the global setting. My bad.

**Developer response:** Thank you for notifying the issue, and sorry for inconvenience.

Newer version(1.0.008) is released and problem seems fixed.

### 5/5 — Does what it says

*2023-10-01*

I find it bizarre that Apple still does not have this ability.

This also works on Apple Silicon Macs - seems you have to re-order thiings seperately from iPhone.

Also, if you are confused why some entries do not appear at all - it's because there is nothing to reorder - i.e. any particular field only has one entry.

One use case where this app is useful is CarPlay. If you share your ETA and speak the name of the contact, it appears to choose the first number it finds in the contact - which might be a landline.

### 4/5 — Doesn’t work on iOS 17

*2023-09-22*

Reordering phone numbers in this app doesn’t reorder them in the iPhone Contacts. Also, the dark grey text on the black background is nearly unreadable. Please refund my $0.99.

UPDATE: The developer addressed both issues. Now it’s a useful app.

### 5/5 — Incredibly helpful, especially if you have a large contacts

*2023-09-14*

I have some pretty large contacts with multiple phone numbers, emails addresses etc. When I update them, I can use "re-order it" to put the more important phone numbers/emails/etc in the contact at the top, or wherever I want to put them. Why Apple does not include this capability in their own "contacts" app is surprising to me.

I have been using this app for years over multiple versions of iOS, different iPads and iPhones, without any problems whatsoever. It has not been updated in a couple years, but it works great on iOS 16.6. Thank goodness for this developer who created an easy to use app for this purpose. It is an incredible timesaver when updating a contact with a lot of fields.

For those who don't understand how it works, find the contact you want to reorder (the app includes a helpful search bar), select the field that you want to re-order (email, phone etc), then using the 3 line "hamburger" bars on the right hand side, "press and hold" to change the order of that field. By default, the "delete" option is turned off. You can turn on (bottom right hand corner) if you desire to delete fields in a contact.

Note: The app will not show a contact that does NOT have multiple field entries. This makes sense as it reduces screen clutter, though I could see it might be confusing to some.

### 5/5 — A Gem of a utility

*2023-08-22*

Blows my mind that Apple still hasn’t provided this ability in Contacts. so many of my contacts have multiple phone numbers, email addresses, etc and being able to prioritize them saves so much time and brain damage. Makes sharing easier also. It’s not a fancy app, but it does the job.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2023-07-21, version 1.0.007*

Only had it a short while. Does EXACTLY as it claims “on the packet”. Absolutely worth (one time) $1.99US … even if I only had one entry to reorder (by conventional cut and paste method). See “Dan's tutorials reorder it contacts ios youtube”. Very simple (very basic).

### 4/5 — Dark mode only

*2023-07-19*

I see no way to get this app out of dark mode. Data is nearly impossible to see because data is black and background is dark gray. Other than that, this app does what I wanted, able to rearrange phone numbers with ease. Developer, pleas give option to not use dark mode.

**Developer response:** Thank you for notifying the issue, and sorry for inconvenience.

Newer version(1.0.008) is released and problem seems fixed.

### 5/5 — Works, simple.

*2023-06-09*

Crazy that this functionality isn’t baked into iOS!
But this app does exactly what it says on the tin, meaning I have order again with my phone numbers.

Thank you!

### 4/5 — An app that does what it says

*2023-04-27*

I am so glad that I found this app. I was surprised that Apple did not figure out that people would be putting information into contacts out of order. I tend to be rather helter-skelter about my information and data so this is really a lifesaver. Thank you very much.

### 5/5 — Indispensable app

*2023-02-06*

This app simply adds the ability to drag & drop to change the display order of the phone numbers for any of your contacts

How annoying is it when a friend gets a new number and you add it to their contact details and your iPhone shows it at the end and won’t let you drag it to the top of the list. This app adds that ability and more.

Also works with emails and other contact details.

### 5/5 — 良アプリです

*2023-01-28*

とても助かりました😄

### 4/5 — Not good in dark mode

*2022-10-20*

I was recommended this app. Very good except for one annoying niggle, hence it dropped a star.
I use dark mode on my iPad, and in that mode email addresses and phone numbers etc are displayed in black letters on a dark grey background. Very difficult to read.

**Developer response:** Thank you for notifying the issue, and sorry for inconvenience.

Newer version(1.0.008) is released and problem seems fixed.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No longer works (as of iOS 18.2.1)

*2025-01-26*

Crazy that there still remains a need for an app like this (come on, Apple), but unfortunately changes made in the app weren’t reflected in my Contacts card, so it appears it’s not longer working with the latest iOS software. Save your money, unless the app is updated!

**Developer response:** Thank you for remind, and sorry for inconvenience.

Latest update (1.0.010) on this week supports iOS 18.

### 1/5 — Dose not work

*2024-08-29*

This APP dose not change the order in the contact card it self.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work on iOS 17

*2023-09-19*

Reordering phone numbers in this app doesn’t reorder them in the iPhone Contacts.

Also, the dark grey text on the black background is nearly unreadable.

Please refund my $0.99.

### 1/5 — Stopped working with IOS 14

*2020-09-25*

Was working fine before

### 1/5 — Didn’t Work

*2020-06-20, version 1.0.006*

Just purchased this app - it didn’t work. Contacts app continues to display different sorting of tel. #’s even after repeated reordering in “Reorder It!” I quit apps between edits to flush cache, etc. No permutation if operations produced the desired result. Sad.

### 1/5 — Really !!!

*2020-02-28, version 1.0.006*

It only sees the 1/20 of my contacts , totally useless . Because is a paid app and doesn’t work you getting one star till you fix the problem as it doesn’t see all the contacts

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work with iOS 13.3

*2020-01-10, version 1.0.006*

I’m using iOS 13.3 and any reordering done in the app doesn’t apply to the Contact display. Physical addresses aren’t detected by the app at all, saying ‘No Postal Addresses Found.’ I just installed this app today, so should be the latest version, right? Maybe spend my 99¢ on an updated version?

### 1/5 — No instructions on how to change the order of addresses

*2019-02-23*

I couldn't figure out how to use this app. I don't know how to add my new address at the top of my address listings instead of at the bottom. That's what I bought this app for. I've tried tapping on an address, I've tried touch and hold: nothing happens. All I can do is enable Delete. I can delete without using this app. The whole point for me was to add my new address at the top of my list of addresses. This is VERY disappointing. (And for my own iPad Contact, this app lists me twice. Why? I am listed only once in my iPad Contacts.). I would give this app a zero if I could!

### 1/5 — Could not get program to reorder any contacts

*2017-04-27, version 1.0.4*

Just allows me to delete, could not get it to reorder; cannot find instructions to use; phone is iPhone 6s

### 2/5 — Good idea, incomplete execution

*2018-01-22*

This app does what it says - but doesn’t quite finish the job. Reordered contact details made on one’s iPhone only show up on your iPad after a restart, not a big deal. What IS a big deal: this app does not push the same changes to Contacts on a Mac - which means all of one’s devices will no longer be in sync. That’s a fail. Sorry, guys.

### 5/5 — Fabulous Little App

*2026-06-16, version 1.0.014*

I have edited my previous review to reflect upon the immediate response I had from the developer.
Thank you for the quick response
This is a fabulous tiny little app that does what it sets out to do beautifully.
It will soon be out for macOS. I can not wait.

### 5/5 — Great Job

*2026-05-07*

I like the app, it does exactly as advertised. Would be possible to add option to rearrange all contacts with one click? I want all mobile numbers to appear on top.

### 5/5 — Fixes Apple Contacts!

*2026-02-23*

For $1 I was able to go thru my Apple Contacts list and easily change the order phone number, email and URL addresses show their order in. Additionally you can change field names and delete. Several contacts have multiple phone numbers and this makes it easy to manage which one to call. Thank You!!

### 5/5 — Brilliant Apo

*2025-04-27*

What a brilliant, simple little app, but Oh So Powerful.
Thank you!!

### 5/5 — Brilliant!

*2025-02-07, version 1.0.010*

Such a great single-purpose app.

### 5/5 — Every iPhone user would find this useful

*2025-01-01*

This little app fills a big hole in ios that does not let you chage the display order that phone numbers appear in your contacts.

Even worse if you add a new number for an existing contact it appears at the very end of the list and I would often prefer the new one at the top. Well this app lets you do just that. Can also re-order email addresses as well.
Great app.

### 5/5 — Great Does Exactly What It's Supposed To

*2024-06-28*

Does exactly what it's supposed to with a clean easy to use interface. A bargain at twice the price.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2024-05-31, version 1.0.008*

Why the F does Apple not have this in the contacts. It works great. Best dollar on an app spent yet.
