Capturing highlights is faster than ever: the new Turn Page button lets you flow through multiple pages in a single session, and instead of cropping your photo to a region, you can now tap to select the exact text you want directly on the image — OCR happens behind the scenes so you can focus on the words. Your daily review now feels like progress. A streak tracker with a flame icon shows up on the Today tab so you can watch the days stack up, a progress bar tells you exactly where you are in your review, and finishing your highlights triggers a small celebration animation to mark the win. We've also added subtle haptic feedback throughout — on capture, on selection, on completing a review — so the app feels alive in your hand. Your library looks better too. Book covers are now fetched automatically from Open Library when you add a new book, so your shelf fills out without any extra effort. Skeleton loading screens with a soft shimmer replace empty states while content loads, and we've tightened up countless small animations and transitions. On the reliability side, we fixed an issue where the same highlights could come back in your daily email too often — we now track when each highlight was last sent so you cycle through your full library more evenly. We also fixed a bug where the camera wouldn't reopen after closing Turn Page, shored up a few rare crashes, and made the sync layer more resilient to partial data. Pick up right where you left off on your laptop. Your daily highlights are now perfectly synchronized across the app, website, and email digest — same highlights, same order, same progress. Review 3 out of 5 on the train, open the website at your desk, and the remaining 2 are waiting for you. A proper finish line No more wondering "wait, am I done?" When you've reviewed all your daily highlights, you'll see a satisfying completion screen showing exactly how many you got through today, along with a gentle reminder to come back tomorrow. And if you're in the zone and want to go again? Just hit "Start Again" to replay today's set from the top. Your email, your choice Signed up with your work email but want your daily digest hitting your personal inbox instead? You can now change your notification email directly from settings on both the app and the website. No need to create a new account — just update and go. The reminder time picker finally works Previously, opening your reminder schedule would show whatever time it happened to be right now instead of the time you actually set. Fixed. If you set your reminder for 8:00 AM, that's what you'll see when you go back to check. Book covers that don't play hide and seek Scrolling through your library used to make book covers disappear and reload every time they came back into view, causing that annoying flash of grey placeholders. Now covers are cached in memory — load once, stay loaded. Your library feels snappy and polished, the way it should. The phantom notification badge is gone You know that little red badge on the app icon that stubbornly stuck around even after you opened the app? It now clears instantly the moment you launch RePage. No more tapping the app, seeing you have nothing new, and wondering why the badge was still there. Number of highlights stays consistent Whether you set your daily count to 3 or 15, that preference is respected everywhere — the iOS app, the website, and your email digest all pull from the same setting.
