## Newest reviews (14 of 39)

### 2/5 — Not featured

*2021-10-25, version 4.3.22*

The web app is more useful.

Missing time clock
UI not scaled for new phones
Clunky

### 1/5 — Doesn’t even log time correctly.

*2020-08-27, version 4.3.20*

There is quite a bit of feedback on this app but one huge drawback that I discovered is that when updating notes on a ticket even though there is a “minutes spent” portion, once you saved the notes you may as well have left it blank. This has led to Techs getting chewed out for supposedly being lazy and not putting in as much work as others. Only to find out that they are using the app while doing field work and that time not being logged at all on the platform. Which in turn also skews billable time! This has cost my company money and made good techs suffer for no reason. This app needs a serious overhaul and bug fixes desperately. It has great potential, but Definitely stay away until they fix it! Just use the web GUI.

### 1/5 — Barely useful

*2020-08-06, version 4.3.19*

You can’t send an invoice or edit timed labor.

The new Touch ID lock feature won’t turn off and slows opening the app. Have to kill the app and try again.

### 1/5 — Bones are there

*2019-09-19, version 4.3.9*

But the app consistently takes me to a screen where I can’t do anything as if it froze or crashed. Have to close it and restart. When I filter tickets it doesn’t actually apply the filter. The only mine option on appointments doesn’t work. Don’t get your hopes up that this app will help you in anyway meaningful.

Android app was slightly better. Not much though.

### 1/5 — Lacks the basics.

*2019-09-17, version 4.3.9*

How is it that you cant edit the price of an item in an invoice?

### 3/5 — More Bugs

*2019-08-19, version 4.3.5*

I saw where you had a update to fix some bugs. I cannot get past my customer information entry on my iPhone app anymore. I cannot start a new ticket or add information. Can u please get fixed quickly. My small business depends on this working on my phone as well. Thanks

### 1/5 — Slow and Scanning Inventory is a Nightmare

*2019-07-17, version 4.3.4*

Scanning the barcode from a label is terrifying. If the tech doesn’t catch it quick enough and move their phone the barcode will continue to scan and add to the ticket.

### 1/5 — Wasted potential

*2019-07-09, version 4.3.4*

This app has the potential to be incredibly useful in so many ways, but falls flat at every turn.

For example, the barcode scanner takes you where you right where you need to be - but in a ticket, for example, your worksheets will become completely jumbled up and out of order.
If you’re editing a text field in that ticket, the app slides it underneath the keyboard so you can’t see what you’re typing. When committing communications notes, there is no ability to put in line breaks.

You can’t even cleanly process payments/invoices in a similar way to how it works on a computer, so this app requires its own training to operate.

This app would be miles better as a wrapper for the mobile site, retaining the main menu/barcode scanning functions for easy navigation.

An opportunity for improvement over the mobile site would be enhancement of signature collection, since that can be a little fiddly in a mobile browser.

### 1/5 — God-awful, worse than useless

*2019-07-04, version 4.3.4*

RepairShopr as a platform is somewhere between bad and OK.

But this app is worse than useless. It’s very existence is a travesty and drags down the whole platform.

The mobile website is Amos useable, so use that instead of this app.

Maybe one day RepairShopr will start over and give us something useable.

### 2/5 — Meh...

*2019-05-12, version 4.3.3*

Has LOTS of options and customizable. Problem is, you check out the how to videos and they are old, basically useless; at least on the basic setup videos. Leaving you to sift your way down through a very complicated program. If it is not setup properly, well..... the rest is not going to be good. While there are lots of things we like, unless you were there from the beginning..... your better off finding something else. We have plans on going back to Quick Books Online if that tells you anything!! Go ahead and download the free trial for desktop and give it a try. Just don’t tell yourself it will get better, because currently, with those videos, it will not.

### 2/5 — App not reliable

*2018-08-02*

I use this app everyday and it updated and the faults change now it constantly bounces offline when no internet issues and you have to force close it to get back online and the checkin and out timer doesn’t work unless the app is open and the screen is unlocked clock in and out an hour apart but it only logs 10-15 min

### 3/5 — App Crashs

*2018-03-13, version 4.2.4*

App works great for most parts. Unable to create invoice from ticket because app crash’s when you try to create one. This needs to be fixed. Using iPhone X.

### 3/5 — Why stop the music

*2018-02-03, version 4.2.3*

It’s a little annoying that when I open the app it stops my music. At least make it a feature that can be turned on or off. Sometimes I just am checking invoices or something I don’t need to always stop the music.

### 3/5 — Good start, but needs more

*2017-09-02, version 4.2.1*

Much like the desktop version advancement needs to be made on the foundation of why we chose the solution in the first place. Seems like there is more focus on integrations rather than shoring up the basic features that the boots on the ground shop owners need developed.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Such a bad app

*2025-10-09, version 4.4.6*

Never seen such a bad app from a paid service. Wants you to lock app with faceid and keeps locking without doing anything. Cant even go from home page to any other without it locking up. And gets frozen when I reach settings to disable the lock. An app in 2025 also requires you to refresh the page to see if a photo uploaded. Is this a website in 2005?

### 1/5 — Needs major improvements

*2025-01-05, version 4.4.6*

Make some changes already! Its 2025 or get left behind!

### 1/5 — 👎🏻

*2023-12-13, version 4.4.4*

New update messed up payments through square. Reader won’t connect. Says reinstall point of sale. No fix

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2023-11-13, version 4.3.25*

With all the money you take monthly you’d think you can make a decent app.

### 1/5 — Absolute rubbish

*2023-03-10, version 4.3.25*

Constantly crashing and reloading when trying to use, have to kill the app and restart each time to see appointments, needs work developers seem to be avoid putting in, disappointing

### 1/5 — Not enough function

*2023-03-01, version 4.3.25*

App is really only good for referring to some tickets or invoices. I use the web version on the phone instead.

### 1/5 — Basic and buggy

*2023-01-17, version 4.3.25*

App has started looping when unlocking when opening it. Just keeps going back to the lock screen after unlocking.

### 1/5 — Unbelievably bad

*2022-09-02, version 4.3.25*

Routinely doesn’t show customers who I know to exist in my database, takes longer to load then the browser. Really wish it worked because I need the functionality but this app is not usable

### 1/5 — Broke with new update

*2022-05-20, version 4.3.23*

Allows to add new customers but freezes when I try to add a ticket under the new customer

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2022-03-23, version 4.3.22*

This app is useless

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Works great for us for the last 7 years

*2025-02-20, version 4.4.6*

We use this for reference and basic tasks. Large ticket volumes. Haven’t run into a single issue.

Edit: I left RepairShopr for a year while we recouped financially after a burglary. I recently returned. All of my data is still available, it’s like I never left. Very impressive and the app still works great for me.

### 5/5 — Great Software

*2023-02-27, version 4.3.25*

I am very surprised by how little the reviews are on this site as this is an incredible piece of software and I love it and I use it all the time.

### 5/5 — Works for us

*2021-03-25*

We use this for reference and basic tasks. Large ticket volumes. Haven’t run into a single issue.

### 5/5 — Easy + Simple

*2017-07-19, version 4.1.0*

Just what is needed to support the RepairShopr desktop version. Works well for on site and off site use and make accessing tickets plus information a lot easier.

### 5/5 — Good App- Needs more features.

*2016-08-14, version 2.7*

Add Esimates

### 5/5 — GREAT start!

*2015-11-06, version 1.5*

Great start to what can be a great app. Its very clean fast and easy to navigate. I like that its not bloated with a bunch of crap.

Looking forward to seeing where this goes!

### 5/5 — Repair Shopr

*2015-09-19, version 1.4*

So glad to see you guys moving in the mobile direction, hopefully you guys are brewing up a full blown repair Shopr app for iPad and iPhone

### 4/5 — Issues Creating tickets

*2025-05-12, version 4.4.6*

I have searched for a plat form to run my mobile mechanic business. It’s 9/10 what I needed to be efficient while staying organized.
Only complaint so far is the mobile app functionality. As my laptop isn’t always accessible, being able to create tickets through the app as well as use some of the other features such as creating customers. Overall I am I look forward to continue using RepairShopr

### 4/5 — Good, but needs additions

*2016-09-30, version 2.7*

App seems sluggish at times. Would be really nice to have ability to look at Estimates.

### 3/5 — Very Basic

*2022-06-15, version 4.3.23*

The app is very very basic so you are better off using a laptop than a mobile device with this software. Cannot view assets, app crashes. Would love an inventory tab to check what we have in stock at the shop when out on site. Face ID constantly bugs out and says it has failed or reattempts several times to scan my face even after a successful recognition especially after reopening an already in progress session. Cannot open an invoice inside the app, instead it tries to open repairshopr in Safari. Being able to scan the barcode using your phone camera is a nice touch although it is not immediately obvious where this function is as it’s hidden inside the ticket charges option.
