Like you piss off some kid's mom and they throw you off a cliff. The reviews looked great and the concept seemed interesting. I gave it a try and I love it!! Even though there’s only two options to choose from for each slide, you can go soooo many ways! The stories are so fun and interesting. Pretty dark. It’s the same story every time but depending the choice you make you can get a different route or progress the story differently. It’s a simple platform. I’ve only tried about 4 times and the last one I got pretty far before tragedy ended it. I wanted Rachel but the game literally said “aw sorry man, Christina really likes you sooo..sorry dude, just choose Rachel in another route lol” IT LITERALLY SAYS THAT, DOESN’T HIDE IT AT ALL! WHAT THE HECK IS THIS GAME?? but Leon was pretty nice, I liked him :D Also what was the point of randomly hopping into a coma for 4 years?? ### 5/5 — Great game but somethings just don’t make sense *2022-02-13, version 1.0* !SPOILERS! this game is great honestly and I liked it a lot, but there are some things that just don’t make sense to me. First of all, how come you die when you try to save the boy, but when you don’t the boy gets hit by the car, but later on you find out he is still alive.(he doesn’t die but you die even though it’s the same car) Another thing, in the game it says that there is a way to save Leon, but there absolutely isn’t, it seems like no matter what you do Leon ends up dying anyway. Overall, this game is amazing the pictures, the characters everything. ### 5/5 — such an amazing game *2022-02-03, version 1.0* this game is genuinely one of the best mobile games ive ever played, i know this is going to sound crazy but i cried a couple times :( all their stories were so heartbreaking, my favorite was the one where you fall in love with a guy and get the good ending ( i forgot his name:,) and the 80s horror girl, this game is just so amazing and sad and im going to replay the entire thing just to cry again <3 ### 4/5 — Fairly good *2022-01-30, version 1.0* It has a nice often bleak sometimes macabre sense of humour that is refreshing, many different endings sometimes recycled (although that is to be expected) give it a try the average play through is about five minutes. ### 4/5 — Love it!!! I need more *2022-01-21, version 1.0* This is a choice-based virtual novel type game. I think that the writing is well done, and that all the different endings tie well together. There are enough typos for me to mention it, but nothing that takes away from the story itself. I really just want more story! More options that possibly lead to new pathways and endings? I would love to see an ending where we can save Anna from her mother. So although being a bit short, and the typos, this is a 10/10 game!!! Definitely recommend. ### 5/5 — Omg *2022-01-18, version 1.0* This game is easily my favourite. The emotional beats are so strong, and the art perfectly illustrates them. The concept and execution of it are made to perfection, and I can’t recommend this enough. I actually cried more than I’ve ever cried over a game. It explores different problems in mental health accurately and tastefully, and it is really beautiful. It’s also funny?! The narrator has some bits where they chime in with fun little remarks that make the game really charming and fun. It’s such an interesting take on reincarnation and I absolutely adore this game i. i yes entirety. I was falling in love with these characters (Leon specifically) and on his romantic route but the way the dev refers to their relationship is cringe worthy at best. I feel like the dev is a tween girl who refers to herself as a “fujoshi” and reads Wattpad fanfictions. The spelling and grammar errors are just the cherry on top to this disaster. Smoking weed once kills you and the story line feels thrown together. ### 1/5 — Uhm… *2021-12-16, version 1.0* … how is this a ‘game’? It isn’t just unenjoyable, or cruel; it begs the question “why, or for what reason was it made?” No disrespect. Just don’t get it. ### 1/5 — Insensitive and graphic *2021-02-16, version 1.0* Random suicides with accompanying artwork? Car crashes that you can’t stop? This game is dark - and not enjoyably so, just grim. I lost a friend to suicide only last month and this game triggered the hell out of me. No words to describe how disappointed I am. Also, a lot of the choices end up at the same destination anyways - and the author outright denies your selection at parts. Much better life sim/story games out there. ### 1/5 — Kinda dumb and inconsequential *2020-07-05* I love text adventure titles and games that let you explore the “butterfly effect” through storytelling and this game does it well, however I find the story to be a bit of a stumble. Choices you make seem like they would lead to a positive effect but instead has a hidden twist. This isn’t really a problem since it does this in quite a humorous way and finds a way to somehow outsmart you. I find this kind of inconsequential though as I feel my decisions don’t have weight and anything could change at anytime no matter my will. This makes it mostly unenjoyable for me but by no means am I calling this game “bad” Basically: if you usually like text adventures, you may not like this. I think the problem is that the developer wanted to make an interactive story that tells a message, and for that I say just make a linear story instead of giving the player the illusion ### 1/5 — It feels very 'railroaded' *2018-02-02, version 1.0* Most of the choices either don't matter or lead straight to death. Selecting “No” when asked if you’d like to date one of your classmates in Julia’s route, despite being aware that you’re supposed to be an adult). A lot of choices, including the very first ones that you select, don’t actually impact what happens in the game (to its credit, at least the dialogue changes a bit). I understand that this might be because of how difficult it is to create branching paths for each and every decision the player makes, but I really wish I had more control over what I am allowed to decide in a game where the whole point is choosing how to spend you’re “second chance at life”. ### 2/5 — Needs a proofreader and a way to go back and change options after receiving ending *2021-02-28* Entertaining, but once you reach an end (which can be abruptly), you have to go all the way back to the beginning to see another choice’s outcome, which is annoying. Also, the writing is quite poor. It reads like something a 14 year old on Twitter would write and post without editing. It has heavy use of parenthesis, words used in the wrong context (i.e. there’s a use of “unbeknownst to you” alongside the protagonist literally knowing and seeing something, which makes no sense), and grammatically awkward/incorrect uses of ellipses and question marks. It could benefit greatly from having a proofreader. That being said, I did spend a good hour playing to see some outcomes. It seems to be a linear story branch type of choose-your-own-adventure as opposed to a butterfly effect or points based system.
