### 5/5 — Great stuff

*2017-01-24, version 1.6*

Just wish it was closure!

### 5/5 — Great ClojureScript REPL

*2016-09-23*

Wonderful REPL app. It's simple, but there's an attention to detail (like the use of parinfer to ease typing) that makes it a smooth UX. The simplicity of the UI is also appreciated.

I use to sketch out functions that come to mind while I'm on the subway in the morning.

### 5/5 — Love this handy little app

*2016-07-02*

Purposefully simple and does exactly what it says. Handy mobile REPL that's great for experimenting with the language.

### 5/5 — Great for learning Clojure!

*2016-05-12*

Thanks for this outstanding tool! I prefer reading on my iPad, so Replete allows me to read Clojure tutorials and have ready access to a REPL without needing my laptop. Clever name, too! Great job!

### 5/5 — Parens to go

*2016-04-20*

When you've got parens on the mind and need to get some ideas out, this is the place to go. Excellent application for showing off the simplicity of clojurescript to your most skeptical friends.

### 5/5 — Fun not flawed

*2015-11-14*

Welcome to ClojureScript a.k.a. JavaScript -- a Clojure-y land where 3/4 is indeed 0.75, and where you can eval "#(for [a (range %1) b (range %2)] [b a])" and see a closure turn into many lines of highly optimized JS ...

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2015-08-21, version 1.1*

This app is so very useful to me.

### 5/5 — Clojure on the go is great!

*2015-08-14, version 1.1*

Please extend the keyboard with parens and brackets.

### 5/5 — ClojureScript + iPad = Goodness :-)

*2015-07-31, version 1.0*

Simple, works. What's not to like?

### 5/5 — Awesome REPL!

*2015-07-29*

This is very cool and works great. The best part is you can get documentation right in the app with (doc f). A more appropriate keyboard would be nice, though, with parens and brackets more accessible.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No history?

*2019-04-04, version 2.0*

My first Clojure expression evaluated flawlessly and I became excited. I had a typo in my second expression, so I clicked the up arrow on my keyboard in order to get the input from the history back into the editor only for nothing to happen. If I have to re-type any expression which was not correct the first time or when I want to grow an expression with more code after the first go around, then I find this uselss.

### 2/5 — New Version Has Bad Formatting Problems

*2020-01-02, version 2.3*

There are massive borders around each block of evaluated code and it makes large parts of the history completely unreadable. Brand new issue.

### 3/5 — Bad color theme

*2020-01-05*

When I first got this app it was great, and it works very well, however, I didn’t even notice an update but now the text is the same color as the background so it’s impossible to see what you are typing. I don’t know if this is a bug but I can’t seem to make it go away

### 4/5 — Would appreciate some niceties

*2025-01-30*

I would appreciate more UI affordances for inputting forms. Like syntax highlighting, especially the highlighting of the different parentheses and brackets. I would also appreciate a simple paredit-style editing; basically slurp and barf would be enough.

### 4/5 — a basic repl

*2021-09-28*

Perfectly usable as a simple tool to see what basic clojurescript expressions do, but not much more that that as far as I can tell.

### 4/5 — I love having a REPL on the go! The outputs could be prettier

*2021-05-26*

One of my ideal use cases for this would be reading the source of different functions and trying to understand them. It would be extremely helpful if it had rainbow parens and pretty print. Right now the output is only lightly formatted and it’s all black so it’s a little hard to read.

### 4/5 — Quite useful but lacking some basics

*2020-02-03*

It would be nice if I could press the up arrow and get the last thing I typed, or tap on that expression in the REPL and have it put into the input area, or just something so I didn’t have to retype things, given that this tool is entirely dedicated to interactive investigation and construction.

### 4/5 — Nice implementation

*2020-01-15, version 2.3.1*

It would get 5* if I could open files.app folders in place - this would allow processing of files in those folders and storage of scripts in iCloud etc - that would make it perfect.

### 4/5 — Love it, wish it could do more

*2019-07-13*

Everything inside the app is great... the stdlib and extensions are solid, execution is flawless... I just wish it exposed itself to shortcuts or x-callback schemes so I could do more with it from outside the app and integrate it into other flows.

### 4/5 — Flawed

*2015-08-24*

It's not accurate REPL for Clojure. For example, if you do (/ 3 4) it returns 0.75 when it's supposed to be a ratio 3/4. Just something to consider because little things like that matter.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — I am impressed

*2021-01-14*

This is my first ever review of an app, but I just felt compelled to say something. I am truly impressed with this app. I am learning Clojure as my first language and having a pocket REPL on my phone is invaluable to be able to test my ideas and practice syntax. I want to thank the developers for making it and I want to encourage others to learn Clojure and to doenload this app as a perfect companion to help reinforce their learning!

### 5/5 — great

*2020-01-21*

pc version is perfect and i want have it on my phone

### 5/5 — Very good

*2020-01-09, version 2.3.1*

This is an excellent, reliable, and convenient app, which the developers update regularly. If you're at all interested in this kind of programming you won't regret downloading it.

### 5/5 — Minimalistically Awesome

*2019-09-16, version 2.2*

The app was recently updated with Fira Code with ligatures. Sure it’s a minimal REPL, but it’s a great app.

### 5/5 — Need multi-form input

*2018-12-29*

That’s only thing I need more

### 5/5 — Fantastic!

*2018-12-03*

A fully functional (har har) ClojureScript REPL for your iPhone or iPad! Perfect for experimenting and learning. It really helps keep you in the Clojure mindset.

### 5/5 — Simple and Handy

*2018-11-10*

Does what it says, looks nice! I'd love to use a custom font and or theme.

### 5/5 — Cool Clojure playground

*2017-09-16, version 1.12*

Nice idea! I could use some more control of copying the already typed code, but it is amazing as is.

### 5/5 — Awesome app

*2017-06-05, version 1.10*

Feels so good to have a ClojureScript REPL by hand so I can run code without a desktop.

### 5/5 — Clojure on the go

*2017-05-14, version 1.8*

awesome ❤️
